Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff recreate their iconic moments to celebrate her master of history purchase

Taylor Swift once again enjoys her "reputation" era after breaking the news that she now has a lead record.

Swift announced in a May 30 letter on her website that she also repurchased all the masters, including her self-name publication in 2006 and her 2017 "reputation" after re-recording her four albums, known as "Taylor's version."

Jack Antonoff, a long-time Swift friend and producer, shared a video of the duo on X on the evening of May 30 as they enjoyed the "innocence" listening to the "reputation" to celebrate the news.

In the editing, Swift and Antonoff sang the album’s ninth track, “Getaway Car,” and recreated a viral moment from the 2020 documentary “Americana,” which they wrote together. Swift initially carried her cat Meredith at the beginning of the video, then put the feline down to end the tune with Antonoff, who screamed as the clip ended.

"Represents forever innocent listening!" Antonoff captioned the position.

After re-recording four of her albums, including "Fearless," "Speak Now," "Red" and "1989," Swift spoke in a May 30 letter to fans whether the rest of her first six albums would be re-released to complete the project.

"What does that stand for TV? Completely transparent: I didn't even re-record a quarter of it," Swift wrote on her website. "The reputation album is very specific to that era in my life, and when I tried to re-create it, I kept hitting a stop point... Honestly, this is what I don't think I think it can be improved by re-making the first 6 albums of music or video or video.

But, Swift shared: “I’ve completely re-recorded the entire debut album and I really like the sound now.”

Whether fans will hear the “Taylor’s version” of these two albums (even just a vault track) is still unknown, the singer wrote, “But if that happens, it won’t come from a sad place, nor is it a desire for what I wish I could have. It’s just a celebration.”

After working with Swift on several tracks since 2014's "1989," Antonoff and Swift unveiled a long-term co-creation and produced her subsequent albums, including "Reputation," "Lovers," "Folk," "Evermore," "Evermore," "Midnight," "Midnights," and more recently, her most recent songs are "Tormenting Poets Department."

In October 2023, "Sit down on Sunday with Willie Geist", Antonoff has been open to friendships and working relationships with Swift over the past few decades, including why he thinks they work so well together.

"The relationship has been evolving and I think we're just pushing each other endlessly," Antonov explained. "I can quantify our relationship in a very short way, about what we agree with, the voice we like, but the truth is, we've grown together. She's full of faith in me."
