The regional leg of the NCAA softball championship is over, and there is some dissatisfaction along the way.

Texas A&M ranked first, upset in the Texas Brian Colletch Station's own area, becoming the first No. 1 seed to fail to eliminate it from its first weekend in college softball history. No.9 LSU also failed to reach the regional finals as Nebraska and Jordy Bahl won regional titles, thus falling to southeast Louisiana.

Ole Miss also won the 13th district of Arizona and Georgia won the 14th district of Duke.

Now the team shifts focus to the Super Region, the best three-game winning streak, with the winner winning a spot in the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.
