Multi-family office Stonehage Fleming has appointed Stuart Parkinson as its group chief executive.

Parkinson joins from Lombard International Group with extensive experience in international banking and financial services.

At Lombard, Parkinson will serve as group chief executive, overseeing the significant growth and eventual sale of the business.

He brings a wealth of qualifications to his new role at Stonehage Fleming, having worked in international banking and financial services for over 30 years. Since April 2020, Parkinson has served as leader of Lombard International Group, known for providing wealth and succession planning solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families and institutions.

In addition, before joining Lombard, he worked for HSBC Group for 27 years in a variety of executive roles, including chief investment officer of HSBC Private Banking and Wealth Management.
