Stephen Curry gets serious injury update during Warriors' series against Timberwolves

Golden State Warriors were driving vague waters as Stephen Curry dealt with hamstring pressure in the club's second round series.

Playing the No. 6 seed of the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Warriors achieved a huge game victory to start the series with a strong team as a road team.

What is the problem of winning 1 in the game? Curry left just 13 minutes after being injured. Although the Warriors' defense led them to victory, this was not the case in Game 2.

In the first full game of Golden State in the playoffs, without Curry, they were blown up by the Timberwolves.

Entering Game 3, the Warriors are back in San Francisco, and the franchise hopes Jimmy Butler will lead them to win again in the series.

Before the crucial showdown, ESPN's Shams Charania clearly provided the latest news about Curry and its progress in injury.

For the superstar defender, it's foreign territory, as the 37-year-old has never dealt with such injuries before. Charania confirmed Curry was actively recovering in San Francisco.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (30) was covered after embracing guard Damion Lee (the game between Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center).

"He is being treated with a large number of hamstring strains." Charania said. "There is still a lot of work to be done to get him to reach sports, contact and sprint.

"He will reevaluate on Wednesday, but until then, the Warriors' mentality is just trying to win one of the games in the Bay...trying to expand the series to six, seven, and buy as much Stephen Curry as possible.

"Inside, there is some uncertainty, and I was told that the Warriors do see Game 6 as the earliest potential window for Stephen Curry to return."

Early on, Game 6 seemed to be the target date. There will be a long time between Game 5 and Game 6, although the Golden State needs to win at least another victory to stay alive.

Even then, it depends on Curry's reaction to injury and recovery to determine if he is okay then, assuming the Warriors are still in the series.
