A flight to Washington, D.C., was filled with passengers celebrating President Donald Trump's inauguration in style by playing "YMCA," a song associated with the commander-in-chief's campaign.
Oklahoma City, Okla., resident Sarah Rogers shared a video on TikTok documenting her "unique" flying experience with Southwest Airlines, which has received more than 2 million views.
Rogers told Fox News Digital that her husband surprised her on Christmas Day by giving her tickets to Trump's inauguration.

"I'm not usually a very political person, but over the past year or so I've been very involved in the Trump campaign ... and (my husband) knows I'm really invested in it," Rogers said. energy."
"When Trump won and we knew he was going to be president, he decided to book this trip for me... It did cost us money, but for me it was worth it. It was a Christmas treat A gift. It’s an experience of a lifetime.”
Rogers flew from Oklahoma to Houston, where he stopped briefly before flying to the nation's capital on Sunday.
She said that as she waited quietly at the gate with other passengers, a person on the flight stood up and started waving a Trump sign. Then other passengers burst into loud cheers.

Rogers said she felt most passengers realized they were "kind of like-minded."

"Once we were all on the plane and everything was done, there was this vibe in the air like we were all excited to go to Washington for the inauguration," she added.
“Before we took off, (the flight attendant) said, ‘I just wanted to ask, is there anyone on this flight going to the inauguration?’ Everyone started cheering.”
As the plane hit the tarmac in Washington, D.C., the Village People's "YMCA" began playing over the intercom and the cabin lights turned red and blue.

In the video Rogers recorded, passengers are seen performing the iconic dance associated with the 1978 disco song.

Rogers said it didn't appear that everyone on the flight was going to the inauguration and there were some passengers who were not attending the festivities, but they were still respectful and allowed everyone "to have their moment."
"Being on the plane and then (the crew) playing ('YMCA'), it was not expected at all, but it was a really fun atmosphere," she added.
"I think everyone was very hopeful ... with expectations for what was going to happen in the next four years, and everyone was very united in that moment and that song, even though there wasn't necessarily a political meaning behind it because it was like Like Trump’s song, we all came together and felt very united.”
