Democrats laugh at the president to a large extent Donald TrumpDeciding to accept $400 million in jets from the Catari royal family on behalf of the U.S. government, Republicans raised national security issues and admitted they have not briefed the details of the deal.
Fox News Digital has asked Senate Republicans to react to Trump's decision to accept Katar's luxury Boeing aircraft. House Republicans are busy completing his “big and beautiful bill” on the committee mark on Capitol Hill as Trump continues his Middle East diplomatic journey.
R-La. “I’m not actually paying attention to it,” said Senator Bill Cassidy. “I’m just thinking about Medicaid and what the house is delivering.”
Another Trump ally, Senator Joni Ernst, said she didn't know enough about the deal to comment on Fox News Digital.

Senators Susan Collins of Maine, Dan Sullivan of Alaska and Eric Schmidt of Missouri also admitted that they did not know the details of the deal.
But Collins, a Republican willing to aggravate the party on certain issues, seems to be more consistent with Democrats’ response to gifts, said she doubted there might be problems in the Gift Act, which prohibited federal employees from accepting gifts from foreign governments.
Democrats point out that the Al-Arthur clause of the U.S. Constitution proves that the gift of Katari is "unconstitutional." These Emer's clauses state that no elected officials should accept gifts from abroad without Congress' consent.
R-FLA Senator Rick Scott told Fox News Digital. "I'm worried about his safety." "Qatar supports Hamas. The Hamas leader lives in Qatar, so I'm worried about the president's safety. How do we know that the plane is safe?"

The U.S. Department of Defense is expected to revamp Boeing 747-8 luxury jets to be used as Air Force One. Some Republicans still have national security issues.
"Qatar has a relationship with China, a relationship with Hamas. It will scare me," Scott admitted.
But R-Mo Senator Eric Schmitt said the "free plane" sounds like "the good for the government."
The Trump administration continues to defend Qatar’s gift to the United States. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Claim this is not "Trump's plane" and donated to the U.S. Air Force.

On Wednesday morning, Trump signed a series of agreements with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani of Qatar in Doha, Qatar, including the purchase of 160 U.S. Boeing aircraft, a defense agreement and a declaration of cooperation between the two countries.
Trump defended his decision to accept the Qatar jet on Tuesday, calling it "stupid" and stressing that he accepted it on behalf of the U.S. government rather than himself.
"The Boeing 747 is giving me a gift to the US Air Force/Defense, which is a gift from a country in Qatar and we have been successfully defending for many years. Our administration will be used as a temporary air force one until our new ship, our new bay and other time will not reach our army very late, so our army will pay the scope. Want to reward the countries we do well," Trump About the Truth Society Tuesday.

"Instead, this huge saving will be spent making America great again! Only one fool will not accept this gift on behalf of our country. Thank you for your attention on this matter!" Trump added.
The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment on plans to discuss the agreement with Congress.
