Shaquille O'Neal has strong words in the final broadcast appearance

Shaquille O'Neal has a strong word in the final broadcast look that originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

Saturday night marks the end of the road in the New York Knicks. After defeating the Detroit Pistons and defeating amazing frustration against the Boston Celtics, the Indiana Pacers were eliminated by the Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Indiana controlled all four quarters and ended the series with a 125-108 home victory. Victory has put the Pacers into the NBA finals for the first time since 2000, ending a 25-year drought. Now, they have a chance to win the first NBA title in franchise history.

For New York, the loss has expanded its title drought to 52 seasons. The Knicks won the last victory, in 1973, when Walt "Clyde" Frazier and Willis Reed were stars of Madison Square Garden.

But the biggest title after the game did not come from the stadium. It comes from the TNT broadcast booth, and Shaquille O'Neal sparked some strong words in his last appearance, and the network then handed over NBA coverage to ESPN.

"We won't (no one)" O'Neal said. "We kicked (features). We took over."

Shaq announced that he would join TNT in July 2011, later in the fall of the NBA season. He has been the crew ever since, along with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley.

O'Neal, 53, is a four-time NBA champion and three-time finals MVP. He won the league MVP in 2000 and won 15 All-Star Picks in his legendary career.

O'Neal was a former Louisiana State University (LSU) outstanding figure, and the Orlando Magic was first selected as No. 1 in the 1992 NBA Draft.

Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam was named the Eastern Conference Finals MVP after another outstanding performance. He played 36 minutes on Saturday, leading the Pacers with 31 points in 10 of 18 goals. His third game marks his third game in the series.

The 2025 NBA Finals will begin on Thursday. The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the first two games before the series transfer to Indianapolis. The Thunder, who won 68 games in the regular season, became a heavy favorite. The Pacers made it to the finals as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
