See who qualifies for state from district schools

Chillicothe's Jayden Beverly and Zane Trace's Hudson Williams are regional champions leading local athletes to state track and field competitions this week.

The top four athletes in each event are eligible to attend gatherings in each area. Additionally, according to the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the next first two altitudes/heights/distances will be eligible for state meetings. These potential qualifiers will be announced later.

This is how local teams gather in the area.

Piclinton's first division

The only chili athlete who qualifies for the state is Jayden Beverly, who first time in the 800m with a time of 1:52.5.

Unoito's Girls' 4x800 Relay Race ranked 14th in 10:08.1.

Chillicothe's 4x800 relay race ranked 15th in 8:23.4.

In the 400m, Chillicothe's Kiera Archer ranked sixth with a score of 57.99.

Chillicothe's Gabby Maranzana ranks 13th out of 3200m at 11:53.1. On the boy side, Chillich's Daniel Hurff ranked 14th at 9:51.2.

In the discus competition, Unioto's Makinley Haynes ranked 11th in 101-4. For the boys, Chillici's Trace McAllister ranked 10th at 146-11, while his brother Jett ranked 16th at 98-11.

In high jump, Chillicothe's Taylor Hardiesty ranked ninth with a 5-0 jump. On the boy side, Chilley's Karter Williams ranked 14th with a 5-10 jump.

Unioto's Grace McBee was 12th in 16-2 in the long jump.

In the shot put, Mackinley Haynes ranked sixth with a 36-3.50.

New Concord Level 2

Zane Trace's Hudson Williams was on the pole vault with a 15-6 jump. Unioto's Levi Beam ranked second, jumping 14-4

Zane Trace's Boy 4x200 Relay Second, Time is 1:30.15.

Waverly's Paige O'Bryant ranked second in the 200m at 25.8. She also qualified for the long jump, where she finished second with a 17-5.50 jump. She missed the 100m qualifying race because she ranked sixth with a 12.8 mark.

Westfall's 4x400m relay race ranked second with a time of 3:24.15.

Athletes in other regions

Waverley's Blake Osborne ranked eighth in the 110m obstacle with a score of 16.8.

In the 1600m, Waverley's Jeremiah Miller ranked eighth (4:30.4) and his teammate Gabe Clifton ranked ninth (4:34.5). Unioto's Ethan Purtee ranked 10th at 4:35.9. On the girls side, Waverly's Hadlee Cisco ranked 12th (5:48.9).

In the Boys' 4x100, Waverley ranked seventh (44.2).

In the 400m, Brody Williams to the west ranked seventh (52.5).

Of the 300m, Unioto's tanning beam is the seventh (41.5).

In the 800m, Westfall's Josh Trapp ranked fifth (1:56.9).

In the 200m, Zane Trace's Peyton Dotson ranked eighth (22.8).

In 3200, Unioto's Liam Lynch ranked sixth (9:49.1) and his teammate Caleb Caplinger ranked eighth (10:07.4). Waverly's Max Monroe is 14th (10:38.6). On the girls side, Waverley's Emma Lansing ranked 15th (14:07).

In the girls' high jump, Picton's Ryanne Moore tied for eighth 4-10. For boys, Unioto's Yusel Wilson ranked 10th in 5-10.

In the girls’ pole vault, Zane Trace’s Reise Grant ranked 13th with a 9-4 mark.

Unioto's 4x800 relay race ranked tenth at 8:30.9.

Heath Level 3

Adena's Katie Burns is the second-place runner-up in the high jump and earned state qualification. She jumped 5-3.

Vanessa Conley finished fourth in the 1600m, where he finished 5:20.5. She ranks seventh in the 3200m at 11:57.5.

Rowan, of the Southeast, ranked third in the shot put 38-1. Her twin sister Reese missed the qualifying match with a 35-4 finish eighth place.

Adena's 4x200 relay race ranked seventh in 1:53.22.

Huntington's Rachel Lute is eighth in the 800m at 2:32.8. She also ranked 14th in the 1600m at 6:05.9.

Karlie Peters in the southeast ranked sixth in the 400m with a time of 1:00.42.

In the 800m, Gage Renison in the southeast ranked eighth at 2:01.2.

In the 3200m, Jaxon Immell and Carter Elliott of Paint Valley finished 14th (10:43) and 15th (10:43.7) in women's terms, and Raely Stephenson of Adena was 16th at 14:41.8.

In the discus competition, Southeast Abby Xiaomi ranked 10th with a 98-4 record. Huntington's Madelyn Smith ranked 13th with 94-8.

Southeastern Craig Branham ranked eighth in high school 5-10.

Adena's Jacey Smith and Kamryn Sowers finished sixth (15-11.50) and seventh (15-5.75) in the long jump. On the boy side, Adena's Joey Francis was fifth with a score of 21-1.25.

Makayla Tennant of Paint Valley was ranked tenth in a 35-0 run. On Gavin Bell of the Boy's Side Paint Valley, ranked eighth with a 46-5 mark. Huntington's Kalvin Mason ranked 10th in 45-2.

In pole vault, Huntington's Hayden Magill ranked 11th in 8-0. For the boys, Adena's Dewy Fout ranked 11-0 and Will Fout ranked 14th in 9-6.
