Florez said during cross-examination that the comb was kind and he did not see the comb making aggressive moves to Ventura when it arrived. He also said the comb didn't look drunk or tall.
Second witness, Daniel Phillip, returned to Tuesday to continue cross-examination.
Combs' defense team asked him the nature of his relationship with Ventura, whether he had sex without a comb, and whether she was affected by drugs or alcohol.
The defense also asked Philip testified on Mondaywhen he said the comb became angry, then threw the bottle on the wall and dragged Ventura onto his hair.
The defense asked Philip if Coms told him to leave so he could "handle", citing Philip's early statements to investigators. Philip replied that he didn't remember saying that.
He reiterated Monday's testimony that the comb did not instruct him to leave, but instead tried to get him and Ventura to have sex again after the violence broke out.
When asked if he ever tried to leave Ventura alone, Philip said he wanted to make sure she was OK and “if she gave me a chance to date her, I would definitely have it.”
Combs' mother Janice and his six children returned to court for testimony the next day.
On Monday, they sat in the second row behind the defense.
