Scottie Scheffler was able to lift the Wanamaker Trophy for the first time in his career.

Scheffler survived Jon Rahm's fourth-round charges and kept golfer JT Poston and Bryson DeChambeau far enough to win the PGA title on Sunday. Scheffler previously finished four top five in the top five in the golf major and completely missed the layoffs in 2022.

Schevler was able to achieve an incredible victory after he was arrested and booked to jail after the chaos that occurred at last year’s PGA Championship. He was under par.

Schaffler trailed five strokes three shots behind Jhonattan Vegas and Ryan Gerard in Colombia. But he played strong in the second round with a shooting percentage of 68.

The third round is where he starts to control. Despite a group of top golf balls landing on the road during the game, Shefleur owns an eagle on 14 and 7 birds. He shot 65, enough to push him to the top of the rankings.

"I'm proud of you," his wife Meredith told her husband to ask her to greet her.

In the fourth round, he maintained his dominant pace.

Scheffler had four birdies that day and overcame three bogeys in the first nine games to win the game. He has birds on 2, 10, 14 and 15.

Rahm closed Scheffler early in the final round. He shot 67 in the third round and had three birdies in the first 11 holes. But 11 o'clock was his last day.

He won the scope of performance in his 16th position. It would put him in a two-stroke. But Bogey expanded Schefler's lead later in the game.

The Spaniard had a tough time at the age of 17, shooting in both directions, trailing Schefler.

DeChambeau, Harris English and Davis Riley all tied for second with 6-under par. Last year, DeChambeau also finished second in the PGA Championship.

Poston ended up tied for fifth with Vegas and Taylor Pendrith.
