Scottie Scheffler showed exactly what Saturday’s third round of golf was called “Mobile Day.”
Scheffler, who had a three-point lead in Quail Hollow's PGA Championship, beat 65, entered the game with 11 shots to enter the final round on Sunday.
Throughout the third round, Schaffler was called, including one of his best shots in the race: driving green on the 15th and preparing for a relaxing eagle putt. Krafter also added three birdies to the card and walked into the clubhouse on the major's rankings.

Despite the impressive 6-shot downside of Schefler, Sweden's Alex Norén won his spot in Sunday's final pair with Scheffler to win his spot.
Third place was JT Poston and Davis Riley, who had a score of under 7, while Liv golf star Jon Rahm was again selected for his stroke with six in the tournament after defeating six in Saturday's 4-shot match.

Jhonattan Vegas also scored 6, but if his 2 performances on Saturday weren't his 2 performances, he could have won everything.
Venezuela is the leader after two rounds, mainly due to his start in a 7-shot match on Thursday. But if he wants to win his first career major, there are four bogeys on the card, and he has a lot of work to do on Sunday compared to two birdies.

But everyone's eyes are focused on Scheffler, who will enter Sunday, hoping to win his first professional masters. While he is the No. 1 golfer on Earth and his 2024 season saw him wearing another green jacket and winning the FedEx Cup, he has not yet won the PGA, U.S. Open or Open title.
And, of course, the PGA Championship in Valhalla last year was a crazy start, and he was arrested into a golf club in Louisville. The charges will eventually be dropped, but Schaffler was booked, stretched and heated in the prison cell before returning to the game in time.
Schaffler has passed the incident, but the key remains: he has not won the profession outside the scope of the Augusta National Golf Club.
