The Philadelphia Eagles ran back to Saquon Barkley and his mind was heading towards the dynasty after the team beat the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl Lix on Sunday.

The Hawks took over the Chiefs' dynasty and affirmed the history of Kansas City becoming the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles. He reflected on his post-match achievements.

"I mean, yes, it took seven years to get here - some ups and downs, some hurt," he said. "But coming here and being part of this team, I remember the first time I was in the game. The debris, I looked left and to the right, and I could see all the pro bowlers and all the lineups on the roster on the offense.

"Defense, I won't lie, I didn't know we would have the first defense. It makes sense now because with all the talents we have, they gave us hell in camp practice. It's a team effort, so only 1 year, why not start our dynasty?”

While counting the regular season and playoffs, Barkley sets most rushing yards in one season. He scored 57 yards in the win, totaling 2,504 yards, defeating Denver Broncos legend Terrell Davis in the 1998 season.

Both running defenders are in the hands of the Lombardy Trophy this season.
