Sandra OH starred in Wang Xiaoshuai's thriller "Children's Drama"

Sandra OH will star in "Child's Play", a newly announced psychological thriller from director Wang Xiaoshuai, type Can be revealed.

Bankside movies have already made its debut on the film – which will begin production in September and will be filmed live in Toronto and North Bay, Ontario – and will introduce it to Cannes buyers.

"The Drama of the Kids" is written by famous Canadian playwright Hannah Moscovitch and is known as the "Disturbable Psychological Thriller" whose drama "Sexual Misconduct in the Middle Class" is currently playing Hugh Jackman and is based on the short story of Alice Munro.

The film follows Marlene Lee, the daughter of Chinese immigrant parents, and attended an all-white summer camp in 1983. To adapt and impress her new friend, Charlene, Marlene crosses a boundary that will change her life forever. About 41 years later in 2024, adult Marlene is committed to a successful political career, striving to make meaningful social change. But when she stands on the brink of a critical election victory, she used to resurface the dark shadows that resurfaced when she and Charlene were forced to reconnect.

"The Drama of the Kids" will be made by Rhombus Media's Niv Fichman ("Sympathizer", "Blackberry, Enemy", "Red Violin"), Good Chaos' Mike Goodridge ("Touch", "Santosh", "Sisu", "Sisu", "Sisu", "Triangle of Sardness"), and Dong Chun (Shangshai) films (Shangshai) (Shangsss), "Stephen Kelliher is executive producer of Bankside films. Elevation Pictures is releasing the film in Canada.

Xiaoshuai is a pioneering figure in Chinese independent films, and his works are displayed at famous film festivals including Cannes, Berlin, Venice and San Sebastian. His 2019 film "So Long, My Son" won the Silver Bear of Best Actor and Best Actress at the Berlin International Film Festival. His film "Above the Dust" was screened at the 2024 Berlin International Film Festival. Further honors include "Red Amnesia", "Beijing Bicycle", "Shanghai Dream", "11 Flowers", "Chongqing Blues" and "Love We Trust".

OH's film honors include "Golden Globe Champion, BAFTA Nominee and Emmy Award" actor and producer, including "Quest Lady," "Turning Red," "Turning Red," "Sideways," "Last Night" and U'Nder The Tuscan Sun" and her TV shows as well as her TV shows include "Gray's Anatomy's Anatomy's Anatomy's Anatomy's Anatomy's," "Killing Eve Eve," "The Caine Eve," "The Capter," and "Synchronous."
