Highland Film Group is handling international sales rights and is released at the Cannes Film Festival.

In "Just Play Dead, wealthy crime planner Jackson is trapped by the Fed, planning to fake his death and claiming to enjoy $30 million in life insurance spending with his "sad" wife, Nora (Green), while murdering her surfer enthusiast Chad. But Nora is cooking her own plan: kill Jack's real Chad and keep her wealth for herself. As the lie says, Nora and Jack compete for each other, surpassing each other, leaving a hard question: Who will stand out in this twisted game of life and death?

The film is a European co-production spearheaded by Head Gear Films' Phil Hunt ("Talk to Me," "Tar") who produces alongside Gemstone Films' Valentin Dimitrov ("The Hitman's Bodyguard"), Sagiv Diamant ("We Die Young"), Moshe Diamant ("The Protégé") and Gaby Whyte Hart, who also serves as the casting director. "Just Play Dead" is by Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier is an executive produced by the Highland Film Group.

Highland Film Group is overseeing domestic rights with CAA Media Finance, co-integrating films and handling international rights. Production will begin in the Canary Islands this fall.
