Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Company (SFMI) has joined the Cyber Insurance Company web writers to enhance its Cyber Insurance Underwriting and Risk Management process.
The alliance aims to enhance SFMI's assessment of the probability and financial impact of cyber threats in its insurance portfolio.
After an evaluation outside Samsung Financial C-LAB, Network Write’s expertise in cyber disaster modeling and AI-driven analysis was selected.
Cyberwrite’s platform is known for its “patented” AI-based prediction algorithms designed to estimate the impact of cyber events from small businesses to entities of large conglomerates.
SFMI dates back to 1952 and provides property and casualty insurance products and services, with approximately 20 offices in 11 countries.
"We chose web writing because it empowers our sales and underwriting team with on-demand, real-time smart, real-time smart and actionable risk insights, driving smarter decisions and faster responses," said Dongjoo Lee, head of SFMI's casualty and professional underwriting team.
NIR PERRY, CEO of Cyberwrite, said: “SFMI’s decision to interact with web writing demonstrates that our platform sets new standards for underwriters, risk managers and clients who need a clear and real-time understanding of emerging cyber threats.
“Our cyber underwriting AI capabilities and next-generation disaster modeling platforms have been used in more than 50 countries and eight languages around the world, providing real-time data on more than 320 million businesses around the world. We are honored to support Samsung’s cyber insurance plans with the highest standards of technological innovation and service.”
Since 2017, Cyberwrite’s platform has been providing insights into cyber risk management and portfolio risk management in more than 50 countries.
In March, Howden expanded his involvement with online writings to optimize his proficiency in assessing cyber risks.
The "Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance and Online Cooperation" was originally created and published by GlobalData's owned brand International International.
