Ryu kicks off for Eagle and holds 2 shots in the Black Desert Championship

Evans, Utah (AP) - Sea Run Ryu won the Eagle by hanging out on the 11th hole, giving her a 68-under 68 lead to return to Utah for the first time in 60 years with LPGA Tour.

Ryu will try to win the game for the seventh consecutive year, dating back to her 18-year-old at the Korean LPGA.

Her biggest challenge is probably shocking Yin, a former women's PGA champion, who ran 10 birdies in the Black Desert and scored 62 times, the best result of the game, enough to get within two shot range.

Ryu started with a two-shot lead, allowing the player to catch her twice, even if only briefly.

One of them is Somi Lee, who had a pair of early birdies before her round self-destruction, suffered a double bogey in sixth place until she shot her last hole from the tournament until the last hole.

Germany's Esther Henseleit caught Ryu briefly, but until the 24-year-old Korean stood on the 11th fairway 82 yards away. Her wedge grabbed the slope with enough rotation and sent it into the cup.

Henseleit made a 10-foot birdie putt within one stroke of the 17th. But she hit the black lava rock and had to hit another from the tee. She left 3 feet from the chips on the short greens, but she missed what looked like a regular putt and made a double bogey. This brought the German 68 shots and left her three shots behind.

“I think you have to think about good shots you can shoot,” Henseleit said.

Ryu had a chance to expand the lead until she missed the birdie putt from Henseleit.

Ryu shared a 54-hole lead at the Chevron Championship last week before finishing with a 76-shot low at 198. Her last win last year was also the LPGA debut at the Championships in the FM Championship.

Yin lost his chance to win another Grand Slam with a three-pointer in five playoff games last week, starting eight shots and posting her 62 in the final group round.

Yin said, "I just want to keep saying: Stay in the present and the past." "I mean, you can't guarantee that every day will be a better day like today, but you just need to keep working hard and keep working hard to have a better day."

The start time of the start is moving forward due to the forecast rainfall, moving forward to the final round of Sunday.
