Conan O'Brien and Ryan Reynolds this week laughed at Meghan Markle's recent entry into the jam industry, comparing her to Reynolds' father's job as a "food broker."

Reynolds is discussing his late father, James Reynolds, "a different career, telling comedian his "Conan O'Brien needs a friend" podcast, whose father left police work as a child and became a food broker.

“He got rid of Copping and then became a food broker and we thought, ‘Come on, it’s CIA, right?’ And he was like “No, really, I’m the middleman of jars and small yogurt jars,” the “Deadpool” actor said of his father who died in 2015.

“He works for Meghan Markle,” O'Brien joked. “Really small jam, harvestable jam, made from the oil of Montecito.”

Reynolds avoided talking about his legal entanglement with his wife Blake Lively and her former video star Justin Baldoni and said in an hour-long podcast: “If Jimbo Reynolds isn’t dead yet, I would say he’s Meghan Markle.

"A lot of people compare it to the two," O'Brien agreed with a smile.

It is indeed said that a food broker is a sales professional who helps customers sell products to customers, often negotiating product placement in stores.

The Duchess of Sussex, as always, launched her new lifestyle brand, selling limited artisan jams, cookie mixtures, herbal teas, honey and other products in April that sold out quickly.

“Where it all begins – this signature As before Markle, as always, talked about the inspiration of Meghan’s Meghan recipe for $14 sold-out jam. "This iconic mixture combines the sweetness of raspberry with the lemon flavor and is made with a liquid texture so it can be radiated, poured, poured, poured into the morning to make it easier to use. This delicious spread has an elegant souvenir packaging that is cherished long after the last spoon."

Markle proposes three ways to enjoy the jam: drizzle it with ghee, topped with brie and thyme sprigs, pour it over freshly made pancakes, and when done: “Repurpose souvenir packaging as your favorite trinket or small treasure or small treasure.”

O'Brien and Reynolds' Markle ribs were on days of jokes about "Saturday Night Live" actor Colin Jost in the "Weekend Update" section, and Britain's only need in a new trade deal with the United States was "we keep both", while showing Markle and husband and husband Prince Harry.

Markle criticized some people for their adventures in the lifestyle industry on social media as unreal.

Public relations expert Doug Eldridge previously told Fox News Digital that while lifestyle idols Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray used different marketing methods when building the empire, there was an indispensable common component - Markle is currently missing.

“In marketing, aspiring marketing and relevance marketing. Martha Stewart is accustomed; Rachael Ray is relevant. Each personality comes from a different direction, but manages to connect with their audience (because they are real), and in doing so, climbing the mountain of lifestyles separately, Eldrige’s legacy and her lifestyle are hers.

He continued: “There are two forms of connection, but regardless of the path or direction, this is still a critical first step in any creative or marketing efforts.”

“Authenticity is like humidity — you can’t see it, but you can walk around the room and feel it,” Eldridge said. “It’s also crucial for the work Markle is trying to do. Authenticity promotes relevance, which in turn creates lovely sex, all of which need to be used for marketability on the market.”
