In an article on the telegram, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said four people were killed in Russian shelling in Sumi City, 28 of whom were injured, including three children.
The Ministry of Interior also said that two people were killed when Russia attacked a house in the village of Chistovodivka in Kharkif region.
Ukraine's SBU Security Agency said it detonated explosives against underwater support on the Crimean Bridge that linked Russia to Russian-occupied Crimea, causing "severe damage" to the structure.
Russia's Russian TASS News Agency said in a statement that after the "temporary closure", "standard operations" were restored on the bridge without providing a reason for interference.

Military Aid

Defense Minister John Healey said the UK will spend £350 million ($473.5 million) to ship 100,000 drones to Ukraine, part of Britain's 4.5 billion ($6 billion) military support this year.

Politics and diplomacy

White House spokesman Karoline Leavitt said U.S. President Donald Trump “was not told” ahead of Ukraine’s unprecedented drone attack on Russian air base earlier this week. Asked whether Trump approved the attack, Levitt said: "The president does not want to see the war extend."
John Thune, the Republican Senate Majority Leader, said the Senate would begin to enact a bill to impose sanctions on Russia as it works with Trump to "let Russia finally come to the (negotiation) table in a real way."
Russia said to the UN's mission that an informal UN Security Council meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday (14:00 GMT) to "understand and eliminate the ideological roots of the Ukrainian crisis."
Switzerland said it would impose sanctions on “17 people and 58 entities” listed in the EU’s latest sanctions plan “in response to the ongoing Russian war against Ukraine.”
