British comedian and actor Russell Brand is expected to be found in rape and multiple sexual assaults after arriving in London court on Friday.
The 49-year-old appeared at South Wacker Crown Court in a black blazer, wearing a seamless striped shirt and dark jeans.
The comedian, actor and right-wing social media influencer had previously appeared in Westminster District Court earlier this month to hear details of the allegations against him.
Court documents detailed the allegations that the brand hesitantly beat a woman in 2001, "grab her arm and drag her to the male toilet." In another example in 2004, he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Westminster, touching her breasts without her consent.
London police first charged brand rape, verbal rape, indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault on April 4, in connection with four independent women between 1999 and 2005.
The allegations were raised after the detectives began their investigation in September 2023, after the Sunday Times newspaper and BBC Channel 4 first reported allegations of four women accusing brands of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse.
Brand has denied involuntary sexual conduct since the allegations first aired two years ago.
One woman said she was 16 (UK consent age) and the brand was 30 when they started to form a relationship that included abuse and sexual assault.
"I have never been involuntary" in the video on X, adding: "I will now have the opportunity to defend these allegations in court, and I am very grateful for that."
The brand was born in the early 2000s on British TV, including his tenure as a broadcaster at the BBC, and he resigned in 2008.
He went on to star in many Hollywood movies, including "Forget Sarah Marshall" in 2008 and "Let him be a Greek" in 2010 and married pop star Katy Perry in 2010, before the couple divorced 14 months later.
He later married Laura Gallacher in 2017, and he has three children. Last year, he said he had become a Christian.
Since mainstream culture disappeared from mainstream culture, Brand has bluntly criticized American politics and freedom of speech in a video he posted on his YouTube channel.
"These allegations are related to my time working in mainstream... As I write extensively in the book, I'm very, very promiscuous," he said in a separate video posted to X in September 2023.
He added: “My relationship is very absolute and always voluntary.”
