Rockies beat the Marlins 22 consecutive wins

The Colorado Rockies ended a 22-game series last year, beating the Miami Marlins to beat Tuesday night 3-2 as Hunter Goodman made his third home run in two games.

Colorado is a major league that won 11-50 wins, winning the second straight game this year after defeating Atlanta and San Francisco on April 30 and the next day. They took a series of sweeps against the Marlins on Wednesday.

Goodman scored his tenth home run of the season in the eighth inning as the Rockies ended the season's 19 series. He beat Miami's home run 6-4 on Monday. Goodman's 12th doubles this season was 4-2-2. Tyler Freeman got two of three hits and Jordan Beck.

The Rockies tied for the fifth time on Baker's RBI singles and Thairo Estrada's Sacrifice Flies.

Victor Vodnik (1-1) worked 1 1/3 of the innings relief for victory. Seth Halvorsen retired three pinch batsmen in ninth and earned his third save.

Pittsburgh (AP) -

Lance McCullers Jr. threw six glittering innings for his first win since 2022, while Christian Walker and Isaac Paredes beat Houston to beat Pittsburgh.

McCarles (1-1) won a close duel with Pirates ace Paul Skenes, allowing only two hits and walks, while hitting seven at the same time. This is the first victory since September 21, 2022 at Tampa Bay.

The right-hander missed the past two seasons due to injury and then had no wins in his first five games after being activated on the injury list on May 4.

Skynis (4-6) was almost dazzled in the defeat, giving up one inning and three hits in eight innings. When the Pirates lost the third time in four games, he beat eight games.

Bear 8, National 3

WASHINGTON (AP) — Michael Busch hit his ninth home run of the season, kicking off three games and ending a cycle of double hits to help Chicago beat Washington.

Nico Hoerner made two runs to complete the fifth innings of four innings, giving Chicago a 7-3 lead. Dansby Swanson added a pair of sacrifice flies as the Cubs won third and 15th place for the third straight.

Right-handed Cade Horton (3-0) allowed three runs in 5 1/3 innings to start a nine-way road trip in Chicago.

Backing from a nervous right tilt that made him miss 28 games, Chisholm brought Fastball into the first row against Tanner Bibee (4-6) to lead 2-1 in the seventh. Six goals later, Anthony Volpe drove a sweeper into the left stadium, pulling the Yankees back-to-back for the fifth time.

Roden (8-3) allowed one inning and five hits in seven innings, eight strikeouts and one walk. He expanded his scoreless winning streak to 20 innings and retired 17 consecutive batsmen to the seventh inning when José Ramírez played singles, stealing the second time when David Fry jumped DJ Lemahieu at second base. Devin Williams allowed Carlos Santana's singles doubles and two RBI singles from Daniel Schneemann, who pinched in ninth place, and then retired Bo naylor on the sixth chance to get his sixth save.

TORONTO (AP) — Bryce Harper got home runs in his first batting game after missing five games, Trea Turner went deeper and Philadelphia finished with six runs on the way to the first victory, a victory over Toronto that ended four games.

Harper resumed his action after being eliminated by his right elbow bruised after being hit by the court. The Phillies had no ball with a 1-4 record and ranked first in the NL East.

In the Blue Jays game, Harper took two three-pointers and scored twice.

Left-handed Christopher Sarenchis (5-1) has allowed a first win in six innings since May 7.

Addison Barger hit two home runs at Maz Lazar and Davis Schneider hit Sánchez's solo, but Toronto's winning streak paused.

Cincinnati (AP) - TJ Friedl crossed the cross country in midfield and beat Rob Pinch-Hitter Jake Bauers in the final game, while Cincinnati won the victory to win an eight-game winning streak in Milwaukee.

Tyler Stephenson home runs for Cincinnati, pinching lux drives at the speed of the flies in the seventh inning. Will Benson went deeper, too, when the Reds stopped three games.

Sal Frelick home runs and Christian Yelich had two hits, extending his winning streak to 10 games in Milwaukee.

Cincinnati trailed 2-0 before playing starter Freddy Peralta in the fourth game (5-4). Peralta was allowed to hit only one hit and hit six of the first 11 bats he faced before Elly de La Cruz doubled from the left field wall. Stephenson was followed by a two-run home run, a 96.6 mph fastball from Peralta.

Grant Ashcraft (4-4) won, and Emilio Pagan won his 15th save.

Rattlesnake 8, Brave 3

Atlanta (AP) — Ketel Marte and Corbin Carroll each had two home runs, with Arizona winning streak winning streak against Atlanta by victory.

Zac Gallen (4-7) has struggled with 8.02 ERA in the last four games and surrendered to a run in 7 innings. He gave up four hits, hit four times and retired the top 10 batsmen of the game.

Marte made 3-3 with 3 RBIs and 2-step moves, while Corbin Carroll scored 4 with 4 RBIs and 3-step moves. Carroll now has 18 home runs this season.

Spencer Strider (0-4) surrendered three home runs, and his ERA rose to 5.68 this season after giving up five hits in five innings.

Tampa, Fla. (AP) - Drew Rasmussen extended his MLB-leading scoreless streak to 23 innings, with five singles, and Tampa Bay beat Texas.

Rasmussen (5-4) allowed only Jake Burger to play singles in the third inning and beat eight games in one game, which was delayed by 20 minutes, due to the third rain in front of 9,131 people announced by George M. Steinbrenner Field.

Kameron Misner brought Tampa Bay to the board in the second inning. In the sixth inning, Yandy Diaz scored in the wild game of Rangers Jacob Latz. Jonathan Aranda scored in Jake Mangum's infield singles while teenager Caminero stole it home when Misner went out to watch.

Caminero has scored a home run on his fifth long ball in the last six games to finish the Tampa Bay score.
