Alejandra Silva believes that she and Richard Gere are "soul mates."
The couple began dating in 2014 and four years later, they got married at a secret ceremony.
Silva, 41, once served as a public relations worker, is an advocate for the end of homelessness and a patron of a foundation called Hogar Si. She is also an environmentalist. She and Gere, 75, are currently on the Sierra A MAR project, an environmental and sustainability program on the coast of Jalisco, Mexico.
Buddhists and vegetarians like Gere, Silva are animal lovers and an avid horse rider.

“We are like soul mates,” Silva told Elle España’s relationship this year. “We have the same values, we see the world in the same way, and from the first moment, we feel like we’ve known each other for a long time.”
Silva told the magazine that they were all activists.
“The biggest thing that makes us fall in love is the heart of our activist,” she said. “Being an activist leads you to inject your own values into the world for improvement. It. It's about making a sound to people who don't have one person and raise awareness. It has a very deep meaning and we have to value our energy no matter how much it may be."
Silva is also a socialite whose father is former vice president of finance at Royal Football Club.
“One of the things that bring us to the greatest extent possible is the heart of our activist.”
The 41-year-old is Spanish. She was born in Kruna, a port city in the northwest of the country.

As a U.S. citizen, Silva revealed that she first voted to pass the U.S. election in November last year.
"I feel so proud and connected to stand there and vote," she wrote on Instagram. "It's not just a choice; it's a moment of bigger steps, belonging and responsibility. The first vote is Powerful, this reminder that my voice is really important. You are really important!!”
After she and Gere got married in 2018, she lived with him in New York and Connecticut, and the couple left the U.S. for Madrid late last year, so Silva may be closer to her family .

Gere told Fox News Digital last year. "And (and it's good for our kids. I think it's great to live, not only to visit, but also to live in another culture."

Silva is 34 years old, Gere's junior, the mother of three-year-old, the stepmother of his 25-year-old son Homer, from his second marriage to Kaili ·Carey Lowell. Gere also married Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995.

The couple shared Alexander and James, who were born in 2019 and 2020, and who was also Albert's mother, whose first marriage was born in 2012.
Gray said he lived most of his adult life in New York.
