Rep. Seth Malton (D-Mass).
Moulton believes that one of the biggest problems with the Democratic Party is that it does not tolerate internal dissent, which has led Republicans to win public victory over hot ass issues.
Massachusetts representative called for resignation last November as he challenged the left’s stance on trans athletes and women’s sports in an interview with The New York Times.
Despite the extremist views of terrorist groups, Maher calls for support for Hamas
"Democrats spend too much time trying not to offend anyone, rather than being cruel and honest about the challenges many Americans face," he said. "I have two little girls. I don't want them to run over in a game where men or formerly male athletes, but as a Democrat, I should be afraid to say that."

Maher raised this in a conversation with Moulton and praised him for speaking out, claiming that Democrats need to stop the unpopular "80/20" problem.
The late night host also mentioned that Moulton's campaign manager resigned for his claims to trans athletes, and people like his former campaign manager "are the problem".
"The key is that we can't have a disagreement in the party," Moldon claimed. "It's actually the second half of my juicy offer. I just said, 'I don't want my daughter to knock it down, but as a Democrat, I don't allow that."

He continued: "That's the problem: we can't even discuss these issues. We can't even make reasonable policies for trans people in sports because we don't allow talking about it, Republicans just escaped the issue, and they're very extreme."
Maher told Moulton that while he appreciated him taking this position, “it had to go further.”

He asserted, "You have to be able to talk about it, and that guy is wrong, you are right! How about it? You are right about it."
After the conversation, Democratic representatives summoned his party for lashing out Republicans as “weird” while asking members to list their pronouns in their email signatures.
"Look, if you want to trans, it's a free country, you can put pronouns there, but don't put it on me," Moldon explained.

He reiterated that Democrats need to stop adopting the “20” side of the “80/20” problem and hope to win the victory in most parts of the country.
"We actually have to keep our true nature with the American people - to be honest - if you don't agree, I'm fine with that," Moldon said. "But I'm talking as a father, it's legal."
