Toronto - Sometimes, usually after the loss, Detroit Tigers manager AJ Hinch likes to view winning stats.
It was a way to beat himself while replaying his mind and studying the numbers as he felt painfully painful for different decisions.
This loss of 2-1 is particularly painful.

Will Vest gave up RBI singles in the eighth inning as the Blue Jays tied 1-1.
Hinch then turned to Brennan Hanifee for the ninth inning. Vladirmire Guerrero Jr. hits second base. Colt Keith had a long left range, shoveled the ball and threw him out without any problem.
Daulton Varsho rose into the right territory.
When Varsho was third, Hanifee got George Springer to the game. Hinch deliberately walked Anthony Santander to Ernie Clement, who picked it out for victory.
Beat Reese Olson with a great performance. In "Barbie Day" at Rogers Center, all days.
Olson is just grand against the Blue Jays. He only gave up on six innings without scores, with only one walking strike.
Is this his best performance? It depends on how you measure it. This is his fourth time to have a team with countless scores.
He lasted longer in one game - he threw seven innings innings against San Diego on April 23. He strikes out three times this season. This is his third walk.
But he was no doubt just dominant, which was much better than his last outing, when he lasted only four innings and gave up three games against Texas on May 11.
In the second inning, Spencer Torkelson's bats against Eric Lauer are fascinating.
Torkelson curve strike. Then, Torkelson pounced on a change, drilled it into the left center and took over the team's leadTh Home run this season.

The Tigers are just one of five teams in baseball, with two players able to reach 11 or more home runs, joining the Yankees (Aaron Judge/Trent Grisham), Diamondbacks (Corbin Carroll/Eugenio Suarez), Boston (Alex Bregman/Wilyer/Wilyer/Wilyer abreu) and Chicago (Pete Crow-crow-arcrang/seiiya suiyyya suki).
In the seventh inning, the Tigers were under great pressure.
After the Blue Jays joined two players against Beau Brieske against Beau Brieske, Hinch turned to Tyler Holton to face Miles Straw. Holton threw a court – an 89mph cutter – grind straw into double play to end the threat.
Holden was still fresh, so he was used in the eighth place.
But Holden was in trouble. After Holton walked Ernie Clement, the Blue Jays ranked him second. The Blue Jays brought pinch batsman Alejandro Kirk, so they fought back with Will vest. But Kirk tied the game together with singles RBI. Then, the vest got rid of the jam and let Bo Bichette take root.
In the ninth inning, the game was tied for 1-1.
Gleyber Torres has played four straight games. Riley Greene flew to the left field and Torres was summoned to try to advance to second place.
The Blue Jays took care of the business in ninth place in Clement's strike Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
