Boston - The Red Sox lost the twins 5-4 on Sunday: Sunday:
1) Garrett Whitlock and Justin Slaten, two of Boston’s top relief workers, have struggled on their past two outings. Whitlock gave up Ryan Jeffers’ two-round singles in the seventh inning.
Slaten voted eighth. He allowed Harrison Bader to do RBI doubles, which made it 4-3, while Trevor Larnach had RBI singles 5-3.
Whitlock won six straight straight and then gave up Anthony Santander’s three-inning home run on Wednesday in his Toronto outing. Slaten gave up three innings home runs to Vladimir Guerrero on Thursday.
2) The Red Sox dropped to .500 (18-18). They were the last time on April 26 (14-14).500. Before that, their last time was April 16 (10-10).
3) Boston is now 4-9 in a single game, including two single-inning losses in the past two games. Five of their last six losses were a run.
4) Garrett crochet left after five innings as he hit 89 courts (54 strikes). He allowed a run, four hits and two walks, and 6 hits at the same time. When Byron Buxton reached four catch fastballs of 93.5 mph in the monster seat, the only run he gave up was in the first game of the game.

8) Receiver Carlos Narváez led the Red Sox 2-1 with two rounds of singles left in the second inning. Even Connor Wong from IL, manager Alex Cora said Narváez will "play a lot".
9) The Red Soxes are on leave Monday. They opened the three-game series with the Rangers on Tuesday. The first stadium is scheduled to start for the second time at 6:45 pm. The 30-year-old Righty allowed three runs, five hits and two walks, while hitting seven innings in Toronto on Wednesday.
