Teddi Mellencamp made its first official appearance at an event since the cancer diagnosis.
On Monday, on an unforgettable night, benefiting greatly from the Women’s Cancer Research Fund in Beverly Hills, Melenkamp shared the good news that her immunotherapy treatments have been working for her.
"We had a double dose five days ago and then I had another game next Wednesday," she told People. "Then I hope, hope I'm done."
"It's a continuation," she added. "So I was taking radiation and immunotherapy at first, but immunotherapy is ultimately something that works for me."

Mellencamp was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer earlier this year after metastasized melanoma in the brain and lungs. She underwent surgery to remove several lumps and was always under immunotherapy and radiation.
The star "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" told the media, "I feel good. I mean, today is the fourth day of the fourth day, so the fourth day. And the five are always the hardest."
She added: "You know, when people come to me, they're like, 'You're so strong, you do it.' I think half the time is strong, half the time I'm crying and sad."
“(But, for the moment) I feel good,” Mellencamp said. "What I learned is that I have great kids. I have an amazing friend and a support system that supports me, and I think that's big."

Mellancamp's former "Real Housewife" co-star Kyle Richards also participated in the event and praised her friend's strength and determination.
"It's really scary, it's really horrifying, it's really scary, it's really about getting everyone to listen to their inner voices," Richards told Fox News figures at the event. "I forced her to go to the dermatologist to remove the mole on her shoulders in the initial way."

She continued: "But it's a very terrible moment for those who love her. Obviously she's very strong, and sometimes I think it's much stronger than any of her loved ones watching her because we keep crying because we're crying, she's very strong, she's very impressive, it's impressive.
An unforgettable night that has benefited the Women’s Cancer Research Fund for 25 years has brought together leaders in entertainment, cancer research and corporate philanthropy to raise funds for groundbreaking cancer research nationwide.

The reason is that Richards is close to his relatives, and Richards lost his mother due to breast cancer.
"Well, I've got mom losing four daughters due to breast cancer, and obviously you've seen what (Teddy's) went through, to be young, so to go through something like that, so I'm able to lend my voice here, to be able to do everything I can do to raise awareness and continue researching for the funding that continues to work on, to keep researching, and I've been here to support my support."

Her half-sister, Kathy Hilton, was also attending the event, recalling their mom "had not been to the doctor, hadn't gone to the mammogram for ten years, which was passed 20 years ago. But now it's not the death penalty. We're really, really close to treatment."
