Ranking of strength according to plan 1-32
Play

Compared to this time a year ago, the NFL landscape has changed a lot.

Few NFL fans hope Sam Darnold-led offense and top defense can win 14 victories for the Minnesota Vikings. Since 1993, the Commander has even less anticipated this is the first NFC Championship game in the series, but after rookie quarterbacks and a new coaching staff.

Each year, multiple surprise teams exceed expectations and some perform poorly. In 2024, the Los Angeles Charger won 11 games under coach Jim Harbaugh. Defending NFC champion San Francisco's final game at NFC West after a boring, injured 6-11 campaign.

In the upcoming season, it is difficult to accurately predict all teams with competition. There are pillars: Kansas City, Buffalo, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Detroit may be attributed to quarterbacks and/or depth rosters.

We can use the power of our schedule to see what other leagues face in 2025. A weaker schedule may make turnaround easier, just as a tough schedule may make it more difficult for teams to break through the year.

Here is how the league ranks as planned for 2025:

The toughest timetable for the NFL 2025

This ranking is ranked using the combined winning percentages for 2024.

1. New York Giant (0.574)

New York coach Brian Daboll has no rest in a huge season. The Giants faced defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia and NFC runner-up Washington twice, and faced the NFC North and AFC West. Six of the eight teams in these departments won in 2024. Five games into the playoffs.

Their other three games were against New Orleans, New England and San Francisco. In 2025, all three are better than in 2024.

T-2. Chicago Bear (0.571)

It's no surprise that all four NFC North teams are here, considering that the division has a total of 45-23 points last season. Outside their divisional games, the Bears occupy the AFC in the North and NFC East. Both divisions have created four playoff teams, including the Champions Hawks.

Chicago also faces San Francisco, Las Vegas and New Orleans. New coach Ben Johnson will cut his job to push the Bears into the playoffs.

T-2. Detroit Lion (0.571)

Thanks to tough zoning slabs and ridiculous road races, Detroit is here too. The Lions compete in nine road games in 2025, with only one team that lost last season (Chicago). Except for the Bears, the Lions face only two teams, with their teams below in 2024: Cleveland (3-14) and the New York Giants (3-14).

4. Philadelphia Eagles (0.561)

The timeline for the defending champions on AFC West on NFC North and Slate is tough. The other three non-divided games on the schedule include the Buffalo, Tampa Bay and the Los Angeles Rams.

Their road game outside of NFC East Play is all teams above 0.500 in 2024. Five of these six non-segment road games have opposed defending the playoff team. The Eagles may have a tough road to repeat becoming a division champion, not to mention the Super Bowl.

T-5. Dallas Cowboys (0.557)

The NFC East team continued to lead the top ten toughest schedule, with the Cowboys tied for fifth in the checkout. Opposing non-district road games that dominate playoff teams like Detroit and Denver will be tough. They will test them more with a game against Kansas City, Minnesota and Los Angeles Chargers.

T-5. Green Bay Packers (0.557)

The last two NFC Northern Forces ranked fifth in the toughest schedule. NFC East and Afc North aren't an easy task, with Green Bay's game against Denver, Arizona and Carolina ending the schedule. The Panther at home might be a slow, but the other two could be a tough road showdown.

T-5. Minnesota Vikings (0.557)

NFC North teams in Minnesota due to divisions, NFC East and AFC North Olympics. Outside these games, the Vikings tilted the road games against Atlanta and against Seattle and Los Angeles chargers. All three may be competing for the playoffs again.

8. Commander Washington (0.550)

During the offseason, Washington has made a lot of investments in offense and should come in handy this season. Their matches against NFC North and AFC West may require a lot of points to be ranked first. In addition to these 14 games, the commander will face Seattle at home, as well as Miami and Atlanta on the way.

9. Baltimore Crow (0.533)

Time in Baltimore is more difficult than other teams in the North of AFC as they faced three games last season against the division champions. In addition to AFC North’s family and road games, Baltimore also plays NFC North, AFC East and Division Champions Houston (AFC South), Kansas City (AFC West) and the Los Angeles Rams (NFC West). The road race between Buffalo and Kansas City will be a tough showdown, but in the most exciting game.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers (0.526)

Like the Ravens, the Steelers competed in 2025 with the NFC North and the Afc East team. Since they finished second in the division, they will also be running second at home with Indianapolis and Seattle, as well as chargers on the road.

T-11. Chief of Kansas City (0.522)

The toughest part of the Kansas City schedule is the AFC West Slate against two other playoff teams a year ago. Outside the AFC Western Conference match, the Chiefs played the NFC in the East and AFC South. The former includes a Super Bowl 59 rematch. Outside of these games, they had tough tests on the way to Buffalo and against Detroit and Baltimore.

T-11. Los Angeles Charger (0.522)

Similarly, like the rest of the AFC West, the NFC East and the AFC South, the chargers have a tough timeline. They will play international games in Brazil to open the season. Los Angeles also faces Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Miami due to the NFL rotation schedule.

13. Cleveland Brown (0.519)

Cleveland's last game in the AFC North, but didn't get much breath in the 2025 schedule. They will face two defending playoff teams in divisional games (Pittsburgh and Baltimore) before scoring the NFC North with three double-digit winning teams last year.

14. Cincinnati Bangladesh (0.509)

Cincinnati also has tough slates in the AFC north and the NFC north. They will have a road showdown with Buffalo and Denver, which may not be easy. Home showdown with the Jaguars, Jets and Bears - with the new coaching combo - could be a place to ease.

15. Denver Broncos (.505)

Denver beat two playoff teams twice in AFC West games and played two more in NFC East Slate. AFC South makes things easier, and because they rank third in their department in 2024, they will be home to Green Bay and Cincinnati, as well as jets on the road.

16. Las Vegas Raiders (.502)

The Raiders have played in three divisional games this season and three playoff teams from NFC East and AFC South. They will have some rest against other games, though, while family leans against Brown and the Bears, as well as road games against the Patriots.

17. Los Angeles Rams (.491)

The defending NFC Western Conference champion will defend the playoffs champion. They will face NFC South and AFC South, forming only two playoff teams in 2024. Their other three games were tough in road matches against Philadelphia and Baltimore and home games against Detroit.

T-18. Houston Texan (.481)

Houston won the AFC South again last season, with the simplest game they have, according to the league's progress. They will also accept NFC West and AFC West, which jointly won four playoff teams in 2024. In addition, they played in the games of the dominant division champions Tampa Bay, Buffalo and Baltimore.

T-18. Tampa Bay Pirates (.481)

NFC South won the second overall victory in 2024, leading only to the AFC South. Partitioning games make Pirates' schedule one of the easier slates. They will also face the AFC East and the NFC West; only three of the eight teams in these divisions won 10 victories last season. Tampa Bay will also host Philadelphia and on the road against Detroit and Houston.

20. Atlanta Falcon (.478)

Like Tampa Bay, Atlanta's zoning slate has lowered their scheduling strength. Because they rank second in the department, they are slightly easier in the NFC South, AFC East and NFC West. The Falcons will host Washington and head to the road facing Indianapolis and Minnesota.

T-21. Miami Dolphins (.474)

Miami also faces the NFC South and the AFC North, with only one team above 2024 (Buffalo) in addition to their divisional sections. Outside of these games, Miami is at home against chargers and commanders and the Colts on the way.

T-21. Seattle Seahawks (.474)

Seattle's slate for NFC West, NFC South and AFC South means they have an easier timeline right away. The Seahawks are a little easier than the Rams, as they will face the Steelers, Vikings and Commanders, rather than the Crows, Lions and Eagles.

T-23. Buffalo Bills (.467)

Buffalo's division slate puts them in a good position in these rankings, as the rest of the AFC East collectively won 17 wins in 2024 (only 13 wins for Buffalo alone). They will also face NFC South. The AFC North Olympics have caused them trouble, with some of the toughest games being three games against defending champions Houston, Philadelphia and Kansas City.

T-23. Jacksonville Jaguars (.467)

As the AFC Southern Force, the Jaguar's slate is one of the simplest forces as planned. They will face the AFC West and NFC West, which will make things even harder. However, this is balanced by the game against the Jets and the Panthers.

25. Indianapolis Colts (.464)

Like the Jaguars, the Colts’ division slate is one of the easiest to schedule. The AFC West will be tough, with NFC West having a 10-win team last season. The Colts' remaining three matches met with the Steelers, Dolphins and Falcons.

26. New York Jets (.460)

The Jets took over Buffalo of AFC twice and defended playoff teams Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay and Denver. Apart from that, it is relatively easy to play against the AFC North, the NFC South, and Jacksonville and other areas of Dallas.

T-27. Arizona Cardinals (.457)

Arizona will face NFC West, NFC South and AFC South in this season's rotation. Only four of the 12 teams from these departments have won at least 10 victories in 2024, with three of them making the playoffs. Apart from that, the Cardinal played against the Cowboys, Packers and Bengali.

T-27. Carolina Panther (.457)

NFC South Slate provides a good start for the Panthers in 2025. Games with NFC West and AFC East include only two playoff teams from last year. Carolina ended the schedule by playing against Packers, Cowboys and Jaguars.

29.Tennessee Titans (.450)

The Titans tied for the worst record in the league last season and got a much easier timeline. AFC South includes only a 10-win team that balances the game against AFC West. Tennessee also faces the NFC West as well as Brown, Patriots and Saints.

30. New England Patriots (.429)

In addition to the AFC East matches, the Patriots also use the NFC South and the AFC North. Home matches against the Raiders and Giants and road games against the Titans balance their tougher games.

31. Saints of New Orleans (.419)

The game against NFC South kept the Saints in good shape and ended the final game in their division, which meant they played against the Giants, Titans and Bears. New Orleans faces the AFC East and NFC West schedule to schedule scores, which has produced only two total playoff teams in 2024.

32. 49 people in San Francisco (.415)

San Francisco has obtained the simplest slate in the league due to many factors. They face the NFC South and AFC South, two of the worst divisions of 2024. San Francisco will also face the Bears, Giants and Browns, who combined 11-40 in 2024 due to their last game in the NFC West.
