Rams try to trade No. 8 for offensive weapons

There is no doubt that the Los Angeles Rams are excited about the six players in the 2025 NFL draft led by tight-fitting Terrance Ferguson. Although they traded from No. 26 to No. 46, in the first round, they were almost in the exact opposite direction.

Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported Monday that the Rams "are in the top ten in trade, focusing on getting another offensive weapon." Earlier, the Rams were reportedly following Arizona's catcher Tetairoa McMillan, who Breer reported that they called the Panthers, who rose to eighth before Carolina got a talented field.

So Carolina blocked trade proposals from teams like Niners and teams such as the Niners and the Rams, not wanting to be cute and risk losing him.

Here are more about the Rams’ interest in McMillan by Breer, probably two close endings for Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland.

The Rams’ bets in this year’s draft are based on their own assessment. As mentioned above, LA did run into the top ten and the focus was on getting another offensive weapon - if they reached McMillan's 8th place, and the first two tight ends, Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland would be there. Just because they haven't achieved this action, it doesn't mean they can't accomplish their goals.

Les Snead confirmed on the first day of the draft that the Rams did explore the deal, but he did not disclose their goals or the heights they were trying to go. It turns out they are trying to move Way On the board, trying to jump out of up to 18 positions.

This size move could cost them at least the first round pick in 2026, but the Panthers turned them down. Rams didn’t lose the first round next year, but added one to their deal with the Atlanta Falcons to earn the 26th pick.

Interestingly, Breer noted that he does not believe that any skilled players played between 26 and 46 are higher than Ferguson, except for Treveyon Henderson, who is the Patriots No. 38.

Interestingly, though, there are only five skilled guys (Jayden Higgins and Jayden Higgins and Luther Burden III), summer camps Treveyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, Te Mason Taylor between 26 and 46. I'm not sure if the Rams will win Henderson's range for Henderson, they have a place from the distance, they have a place from the distance.

The Rams are a big Ferguson fan and are reportedly even considering hitting him on No. 26, but if Ohio State stance runs are available.
