Rachel Zegler, Marisa Tomei leads the comedy drama She Gets It From Me

The new crown Disney princess Rachel Zegler is ranked in her first film after "Snow White" and will play Marisa Tomei's wild mother's daughter "She got it from me".

The film was directed by Julia von Heinz ("Treasure" and Germany's 2021 Oscar-style submission "and the world of tomorrow"), and the embankment launched a global pre-sale in Cannes.

Based on a true story, "She Gets It From Me" follows Nick (Zegler), whose engagement celebration turns into her snap-up, the biological mother of the former punk rocker, Charlotte (Tomei). The two embarked on an anarchic mother-daughter journey together and reconnected.

As outlined: “YouTube is full of family gatherings with tears, but no one will shoot the messy consequences.”

3311 Productions ("Assistant", "Brigsby Bear", "Table 19") collaborated with Anna Werner to produce seven elephants ("And the World of Tomorrow", "Sun and Concrete", "Treasure") and Jay Reiss (Tony Award, winning the twenty-second Fifthnam County County Spelling Bee Bee, "Twine Fif Fif Fif Healthnam"), who also wrote the script. Dike Movie handles international sales with CAA on behalf of the U.S. rights.

"The emotional truth of the film reflects a part of our life, and it's really fun, immersive movies," Von Heinz said. "Jay's script captures family dynamics in the most authentic way: ridiculous and profound, messy and meaningful. The collision of two worlds creates comedy because it's so honest and therefore deep."

Joined producer Jen Dana in 3311: “Rachel always brings a brilliant depth and humanity to her role and we are very excited for her to continue to showcase her versatility and humor as an actress.”

Zegler has been on a steep track since Steven Spielberg's "Westside Story" adaptation (she won the Golden Globes), appearing in "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes," and, more recently, as a live performance of Princess in "Snow-Snow White." Recently, she announced as the leading "Evita" in London Palladium.

Meanwhile, Oscar-winning and three-time nominee Tomei continues to mix independent and studio work, known for portraying May Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and more recent films as well as films that include Berlinale Boing "She She to Thi Me" and Prime Video Rom-com "upgraded."

“More than Marisa Tomei who finds out your biological mother!

Zegler was rejected by CAA. Tomei was rejected by Gersh Agency, Untitled Entertainment and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
