Qatar Gift Trump Giant Jet Used as Air Force One

Fox News learned that the Qatar royal family offered to donate a giant jet to the Ministry of Defense that the agency could be used as Air Force One, but White House officials said the offer had not been accepted yet.

Earlier Sunday, ABC News reported that President Trump was “hopefully expected to accept” the $400 million Boeing 747-8 Jumbo jet and will use it until the end of his term, which will be given to his presidential library. Trump is believed to be frustrated by Boeing's delays in producing a new presidential plane.

A White House official told Fox News that gifts will not be given or accepted when Trump visits Doha this week. But the White House does not deny that Trump may have owned the plane at some point.

"Any gift given by a foreign government is always in full compliance with all applicable laws," said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. "President Trump's administration is committed to full transparency."

Trump will travel to the Middle East this week and is expected to meet leaders from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Trump reportedly visited the plane in February on the apron at West Palm Beach Airport in Florida. The socket was the first to report on the matter, noting that the aircraft was so well equipped that it was called the "Flying Palace."

The gift was reportedly linked to the White House lawyer's office, with the Justice Department reviewing the president's legitimacy and accepting expensive gifts from abroad.

The current Air Force fleet includes two aircraft, and Trump awarded Boeing a $3.9 billion contract to build two new aircraft in his first term in 2018. However, the construction of the jet is not expected to be completed until 2029.

After reaching an agreement with Trump and Trump in 2018, Boeing puts it into practice for the creation of new fleets, and Boeing is honored to build the next generation of Air Force One, providing a White House of outstanding value for taxpayers.

When not serving as president, Trump traveled in his 757 jet, known as Trump One. That jet is known for Trump’s last name and is often seen in the context of campaign rallies.

Trump purchased the 757 jet in 2011 and was equipped with luxurious fixtures such as a 24-carat gold-plated seat belt buckle. The plane has undergone a comprehensive transformation ahead of his 2024 presidential election.
