Pro-Palestinian protesters rally around the world to commemorate "Nakbar Day" | Israel-Palestine conflict news

During the brutal Israeli war against Gaza, tens of thousands gathered around the world in unity and purged the Palestinians in 1948 with Jewish militias and were remembered as Nakba or disaster.

Nakba caused permanent displacement of Palestinians after its founding of Israel in 1948. Radicals say history repeats today in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

In Stockholm, thousands of people gathered in Odenplan Square, responding to various civil society groups’ calls to protest Israeli attacks on Gaza. Participants waved the Palestinian flag, showed photos of the murdered children with banners saying, “Stop the genocide of the Zionist regime in Palestine”.

Many protesters' placards list the names of civilians killed in Gaza, trying to highlight the ongoing massacre.

Meanwhile, in London, England, thousands of people are moving towards Downing Street, demanding an end to what they described as Israel's genocide in Gaza, 77 years away. Protesters, some wearing Keffiyehs and waving the Palestinian flag, recite scripture-reading slogans such as "Stop the Genocide in Gaza", "Free Palestine" and "Israel is a terror state".

Demonstrators condemned Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip, accusing it of deliberately starving 2 million Palestinians, and criticized the British government's political and military support for Israel, accusing accused of accomplice in a humanitarian crisis.

In Berlin, Germany, people gathered at Potsdamer Platz to protest the Israeli attack on Gaza. The protesters waved the Palestinian flag and held signs that read, “Your silence is a complicity” and “You can’t kill all of us.” There are also women in traditional dresses with midnac theme visuals.

The event took place in strict security measures, with at least three people reportedly being detained.

A solidarity parade was held in Athens, Greece, where Kefies and protesters carrying Palestinian flags marched first to the U.S. and Israeli embassies.

In the past few days, protests broke out after protests were killed in the past few days as Israel intensified its attacks.

Globally, May 15 is considered the 77th anniversary of the deportation of 700,000 Palestinians after the establishment of Israel in 1948.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, since the attack on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military has killed 53,272 Palestinians and injured 120,673 people. The government media office updated the death to more than 61,700, noting that thousands of deaths are still missing under the rubble.
