Prince William is said to be developing a strategy of how to strip his younger brother and sister son of royal titles.

Kinsey Schofield, the TO DI host of the Daily Podcast, claimed to be Fox News Digital, and she was the first to share the report and was then collected by multiple media outlets. Fox News Digital contacts Kensington Palace, which is responsible for the Prince of Wales' office. The claim has not been verified by the palace.

"I know Prince William wants to strip them of their title a few weeks ago," Schofield claimed.

Prince William's public excavation of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shows that he "does not care" about their thoughts: Experts

“Prince William has not escaped confrontation in his father’s way…Prince William believes that Harry and Meghan are exploiting their proximity to the royal family, even though they do their best to endanger the future of the monarchy.

"The reality is that (the Duke and Duchess of Sussex) is currently making the last few years of King Charles' life a hell," Schofield said. "Prince William and the public will not be too tolerant this time... We think it's Meghan's (especially) despair, knowing that Prince William is on the horizon, he won't stand her."

Meghan is a former American actress, with the title of Duchess of Sussex at Queen Elizabeth II's 2018 wedding to Harry. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex retreated late in 2020 and moved to California on the grounds of an invasion that the British media had unbearable and lack of support from the palace.

Since their move was created as "Megxit" by the media, the couple announced their grievances in interviews, documentaries, and Harry's 2023 memoir "Standby."

People magazine reported that although they no longer work as royals, they still retain the title "His/her Royal Highness" but they cannot use them in public or for commercial purposes. According to the media, Meghan's royal style has recently attracted personalized notes for her "HRH" title on a personalized note after she gave her a gift to her friend for over a year.

The media noted that while Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, do not use their HRH titles for "public or commercial enterprise", their official titles are on the table. The media notes that the notes discussed are "part of a private personal gift, not a business move."

Still, Schofield claimed Meghan's use of her HRH title was not as good as William's.

"Meghan used the Sussex title, but more HR champions violated the Sandlingham Agreement (before the couple's wife's exit)," Schofield said. "Harry and Meghan began to suffer."

British royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital that the cancellation of the royal title requires legislative action through a parliamentary bill. This means that once you become king, William cannot take away their championship. But, she claimed the 42-year-old was determined to send a clear message to the couple.

"King Charles is tolerant and generous, because they are all his sons," she explained. "Until recently, he had hoped for some kind of reconciliation. He grew up surrounded by a loyal family and siblings.

"Former courtiers have always said that William is inclined to strip Harry and Meghan of the HRH titles because they blatantly violated the agreement with their grandmother and the Royal Agreement," Fordwich said. "His brother was disgusted with his personal gain for his royal status, mainly by revealing the intimate childhood experiences they shared."

William might get some backups to make that goal a reality. People magazine noted that in recent years, discussions on the introduction of legislation would grant monarchs or parliamentary committees the power to remove royal titles.

It is reported that in 2022, the "Title Delete Act" was introduced. Its purpose is to give the monarch the power to remove titles “on their own initiative or follow the recommendations of the Joint Committee of the Parliament”. However, it has not been enacted into law.

In 2023, Bob Seely, who was then a conservative member of parliament, promised a bill that would strip Harry and Meghan of the Royal Championship.

"I am not a Republican, but I support the monarchy, but after the latest hatred of the couple with the rest of the royal family, I believe that the Council and the Privy Council should consider a nuclear option," Seely wrote in an email on Sunday. "The Duke and the Duchess can be a couple like the rest of us."

“My goal is simple: If someone doesn’t want to be a royal family, it’s a decision we respect – but if they waste institutions that play a major role in our country’s life, they shouldn’t maintain titles and privileges.”

Seely did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment at the time. The Parliament’s website currently states that Seely is “no longer a member, but a Conservative MP (MP) of the Isle of Wight and left the House of Commons on May 30, 2024.”

"In view of the years of public votes, the public has shared his emotions," Fordwich said.

“He wants to uphold traditional values, norms and the integrity of the monarch. He believes Meghan Markle commercialized the HRH title as disrespect for his beloved grandmother. Queen Elizabeth II awarded it a hereditary title. While the parliament has not passed any laws in this regard, they have discussed any laws, but they have discussed new legislation that can be promoted more easily with their champions.

Master Graham Zellick, a professor of public law and court judge, pointed out that the HRH style will be the simplest title for the monarch.

"Currently, the Sussexes (like Prince Andrew of the Duke of York) agreed not to use the title while relinquishing royal duties, but it is clear that the king can withdraw it, a decision that is not suitable for judicial review."

“In any case, it is almost impossible based on the honor of abandoning the role of working members of the royal family and living abroad.”
