In a round-trip conversation with Moran, Trump promised “everything will be fine” when he spoke of his controversial duties.
Moran claims that the 145% tariff is basically an embargo, and that everything must be "raised".
Trump replied: "They deserve it."

This is a topic that the president keeps talking about.
"You don't know. You don't know if China will eat it," Trump said.
"That's mathematics," Moran said.
"China may eat those tariffs," Trump replied. "But 145% of people, they can't basically do much business with the United States. They make money from us every year, and they're taking us off, just like no one has cheated us."
The president continued: "Everything will be fine. If I don't, it's impossible."
Molan Keep poking, saying, “The answer to your concerns about tariffs is that everything will become clumsy, but the president reiterated, “If I don’t do that, that’s not the case. I have a choice. I have a choice. I could leave it and have a pleasant relaxing time, but I think you'll explode in the end. ”
Trump continued: "Our country's inflation rate is worse than ever. You didn't mention it. Why don't you mention it? Our inflation rate is probably the worst. "People say 48 years, maybe in national history, our inflation rate is the worst, people... die from inflation, you know. Now, grocery prices are falling, energy prices are falling, and gasoline is falling. Everything is heading in the right direction. ”

Another hot topic the president defended during the heated discussion was his handling of the illegal immigration crisis he inherited from former President Joe Biden.
Trump said when talking about whether illegal immigrants should be heard by a court hearing rather than being evacuated immediately, “If people enter our country illegally, there are different standards.”
Trump described his administration’s handling of tracking and deporting illegal immigrants as his most important achievement so far.
Moran argued: “Under our law, everyone deported will have a first hearing.”
Trump retorted: "When Biden allowed 21 million people to flow into a country...will we have a hearing when they come in?"
When the anchor insisted that it was a legal process that should be followed, Trump replied: "They got everything my lawyer said" - referring to the legal rights his administration has provided for the deported.
President Donald Trump’s first 100 days: Will invest $1B or more in the United States
When Moran talked about illegal immigration to Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the two continued to look up and accused members of the MS-13 gangs of being experiencing a court battle related to Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which granted wartime presidential powers to expel the non-Western people.
Trump said lawyers said it was a mistake, and he was “not appointed by us – that should not be said”, referring to the statement made by a former Justice Department official that Abreg Garcia was wrongly withdrawn from El Salvador.
"This is an MS-13 gang member, a tough cookie, caught in many skirmishes and defeated his wife, okay? This is not an innocent, wonderful gentleman from Maryland."
Moran replied that he "is not saying (Garcia) is a good guy".

"It's about the rule of law," Moran said, even noting that Trump "can (Abrego Garcia) come back."
Moran said: "There is a phone on this table. You can pick it up and call the President of El Salvador and say, 'Send him back now.'
Trump then said he would bring Abreg Garcia back “if he is the gentleman you said, he is.”

Other topics discussed in the interview include Trump’s decision to revoke certain people’s security permits and pursue law firms by executing orders, which some are seen as punishment.
The president pointed out that if someone is seriously treated or punished, it is him.
"I'm not treating people when you say I'm treating people rough," Trump said. "I'm treating worse than any president in my history. You know, people want to know, maybe that's it...he's going to leave town, that's helicopter, and then I'm back and I'm getting a lot of support."
