President-elect Trump picks a slate of administration picks just days before inauguration

President-elect Trump announced a number of nominations Thursday just days ahead of his Jan. 20 inauguration.

Trump congratulated him on his selection in a series of posts on Truth Social on Thursday afternoon.

Nominees include a former missile defense system test engineer for the secretary of the Air Force, and a trade partnership chief executive for the secretary of trade and foreign affairs.

Trump names latest pick for White House staff for January. 20 Inauguration Ceremony

Trump appoints Chris Stallings as assistant administrator for disaster recovery and resiliency at the Small Business Administration.

Stallings currently serves as director of the Georgia Emergency Management Agency and Homeland Security and will work closely with incoming Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler.

"(Stallings and Loeffler will) ensure that when disaster strikes, our government can respond quickly and vigorously to protect our small businesses," Trump wrote on Truth Society It is the backbone of our economy.”

Trump appoints Luke Lindbergh as USDA undersecretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs.

During Trump's first term, Lindbergh served as Ex-Im Bank's chief of staff and chief strategy officer and received the Distinguished Service Award.

He is currently the President and CEO of South Dakota Trading Corporation and a board member of the National Association of Regional Export Councils.

The South Dakota Trade Authority is a 501(c)(6) public-private partnership that guides international trade for the state, according to the organization's website.

Lindbergh has been featured on Fox News and other outlets for his "thought leadership" on international affairs and agricultural policy.

Trump wrote on "Truth Social" that Lindbergh would ensure American farmers and ranchers get the "smart" trade deal they deserve.

Dr. Troy Meck is elected Secretary of the Air Force.

According to Trump's post, Maker serves as the principal deputy director of the National Reconnaissance Office and began his career as a KC-135 tanker navigator.

He later served as a test engineer for missile defense systems.

"Troy will work with our incredible nominee for Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, to ensure our nation's Air Force becomes the most effective and lethal force in the world while we secure peace through strength," Trump wrote. "Congratulations Troy!"

Dudley Hoskins has been selected as USDA Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs.

He currently serves as an adviser to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee and previously spent four years at the Department of Agriculture during Trump's first term as chief of staff for marketing and regulatory programs and senior adviser to the secretary of state. According to Trump’s post.

"(Hoskins) will work with our great Agriculture Secretary nominee Brooke Rawlings to ensure that American food is the safest and healthiest in the world," Trump wrote.

Richard Fordyce has been appointed undersecretary for agricultural production and conservation at the Department of Agriculture.
Fordyce is a proud fourth-generation soybean, corn and beef cattle farmer who served as administrator of the USDA Farm Service Agency during Trump’s first term and is a former Missouri agriculture commissioner.

"He will work closely with our outstanding nominee for Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rawlings, to ensure that our incredible American farmers and ranchers have the resources to feed our great nation and The support the world needs.”

Trump appoints Michael Bolen as USDA undersecretary for natural resources and environment.

Bolen was described by Trump as "a successful businessman" who founded six companies, including Clearwater Analytics.

He also served as a volunteer firefighter with the Sawtooth Valley Rural Fire Department and as a board member of the Idaho Parks and Recreation Department.
"Michael will work to reinvigorate forest management at a time when it is desperately needed," Trump wrote in the Truth Society post.
