President Donald Trump laughed at a protester who tried to undermine his speech in Michigan, marking the first 100 days of his tenure, joked that he "thinks it was a man."
When the president praised Republican National Committee leader Michael Watley, there seemed to be some kind of distraction in the crowd, causing the president to pause his speech.
"What's the problem over there?" Trump said. "What's the problem? Is that a radical left madman? He's just a kid. Okay, take him away."
As security personnel evacuated protesters and the crowd booed, Trump apologized for calling the man a man, saying it was actually a woman thrown away.
Trump said, "Oh, sorry, sorry, madam, I think that's a person." "I'm sorry, I said he, this is her."
