The president also met with Qatar's business leaders and headed to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

President Donald Trump was under pressure on Iran on Thursday, warning Tehran about its nuclear program or potential air strikes as the only two solutions to the diplomatic deadlock.
"We want to see if we can solve the Iran problem in a smart way, not a cruel way. There are only two: smart and cruel. These are two options," Trump said in a speech in Qatar.
Trump also said that Qatar's rule, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, has been pushing for a diplomatic agreement on Iran's nuclear program. Qatar has a huge offshore oil and natural gas field, which is crucial to its wealth with Iran.
"I said last night that Iran was lucky to have Emir because he was actually fighting for them. He didn't want us to do a vicious blow to Iran," Trump said. "He said, 'You can make an agreement. You can make an agreement.' He is really fighting, and I mean: I think Iran should be very grateful to Emir."
On another perspective, Trump muses: “In terms of Iran, they built a good drone.”

It called on the international community to oppose the plan. It said the new plan, coupled with the “systematic damage” of civilian infrastructure and all obstacles to importing to Gaza, is a signator of the genocide convention that takes action to prevent Israeli action. It said states should stop transferring weapons to Israel and enforce international arrest warrants against Israel's prime minister and former defense minister and review bilateral agreements with the country.
Israel strongly denied accusing it of genocide in Gaza.
The group also called on Hamas to release 58 hostages it still holds in Gaza, 23 of whom are believed to be alive.
