Pony AI Inc. (NASDAQ:PONY) has achieved significant milestones in driving growth in the Middle East as part of its global expansion plan. On May 27, the company signed a strategic partnership with the Road and Transport Authority in Dubai. The agreement paves the way for the company to deploy its advanced robot fleet in the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai has set ambitious goals in its 2030 smart city perspective with the goal of transitioning to 25% of all journeys to self-driving cars by 2030. By 2030, Pony.ai will introduce multi-stage autonomous driving technology to cities in multi-stage autonomous driving technology, conducting supervised trials in 2025, and begin with unmanned driving measures in 2025, and integrate on drones in 2026. The transportation network currently includes subway, tram and sea routes. Its robot is designed to complement existing infrastructure to enable smoother journeys and reduce carbon footprint.

As a pioneer in autonomous operational capabilities, Pony.ai is preparing to mass-produce and deploy its seventh generation robots starting in the second half of 2025. The company's latest autonomous driving system was recently presented at Auto Shanghai 2025 and has quality as the premium Ad Kit Hartware Hartware Suite for quality growth in 70% of production. While the focus is on opening automatic taxis in the United Arab Emirates, Pony.ai also plans to improve its Robotaxi globally over the next two years. The company has obtained licenses to launch in four major markets: the United States, China, South Korea and Luxembourg. Technology maturity, operational preparation and advanced vehicle engineering support the accelerated global launch.
