The Phoenix Suns have been prosecuted by current staff for alleged discrimination, harassment and retaliation.

Gene Traylor, the organization's director of safety, security and risk management, claimed in the lawsuit that the team downgraded him after introducing potential safety issues around the Sun and Mercury in the WNBA.

One of the lawsuits was during a test conducted by the Phoenix Police Department’s Homeland Defense Department, where two plainclothes officials were able to bring a knife into a game. Almost a year later, in a similar test, two pistols and a knife passed safely.

The lawsuit also claims that the Suns have not been reviewed by the NBA.

The Suns said the accusations were "delusional and absolutely wrong."

"Guest safety is our top priority," a Sun spokeswoman said in a statement to ESPN. "We continue to meet and exceed safety expectations. We conduct regular safety testing, which is the standard across the industry. We have taken these positive measures to ensure we operate at the highest level of safety and preparation."

Trailer also expressed apparent concern for a part-time employee, apparently stealing $40,000 worth of goods, a "dissatisfied subject" interrupted the team's photo, while political provocateurs approached Brittney Griner.

This is the fourth lawsuit against the team in the past seven months, all of which claim to discrimination.

Attorney Sheree Wright represents all the defendants, but the Suns made harsh remarks about her.

"Arizona Supreme Court disciplinary attorney Sheree Wright has committed many violations of the rules of professional conduct and is currently serving two years in prison with the Arizona State Bar Association," the spokeswoman said. "This time, Ms. Wright and her client made ridiculous allegations of misconduct by the Phoenix Security Department….

“Ms Wright continues to recruit former and current employees and is manipulating them to file priceless lawsuits.”

"These are not vague allegations. They are specific, detailed, and supported by witnesses, documents and evidence," Wright said in a statement of his own.
