2024 season: 14-3, Win the Super Bowl
Overview: There may not be a better NFL roster than the Hawks in the long run. They have relatively young stars in almost every major position, and most are stuck in long-term deals. It's a great place to be fresh in the Super Bowl command victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. And, with a healthy salary cap room, the team has the ability to bring the band together and re-sign a handful of key players who are expiring contracts.
With this core, the Eagles have won the championship and nearly two years ago. And there is no reason why they shouldn't lead the elite running attack with QB Jalen Hurts and RB Saquon Barkley in the coming years, while the defense continues to draft and develop stars like De Jalen Carter, DL Jordan Davis and CB Quinyon Mitchell. As long as the injury and head coach Nick Sirianni can stop their tension from boiling, everything will be sunny and happy days in the brotherly city of love.
LB Zack Baun
de Josh Sweat
Ol Mekhi Becton
DL Milton Williams
They're Brandon Graham
RB Kenneth Greenwell
Who is/outside: Seeing what the Hawks do with Baun, who signed for a year last year, proved the deal, was a breakthrough star in the middle of the season’s defense. He earned a huge payday after an all-pro season, but Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman usually doesn't provide huge sums of money for goal guards. The team is eager to bring back sweat, Becton and Williams, as these three facts prove to be key to the frontline, but at least one player in the group could be a hat casualty. If Graham decided to oppose retirement at the age of 36, it would be no surprise to see him sign a short-term contract to complete his legendary career in Philadelphia. In this high-end free agent group, Gainwell is quite low on the priority list.
Fringe Charge
Line guard
Offensive line
Why do you need a hole? Yes, we all look at the defensive wreckage of the Hawks’ Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but they may need to restock at that position and potentially lose free agents and/or retirement. There are more players to rush and this will never be hurt. The situation at the defenders is largely determined by whether they bring back Baun, and with Star Right Tackle Lane Johnson entering his 35-year-old season, maybe it's time to start planning for the future at that place.
According to Spotrac, they have some, expected to have a $25 million oct room, ranking 19th in the NFL. Most of the money will likely go to re-signing for the upcoming free agent, so don't expect the team to do another splash signature similar to Sackley Barkley.
CB Darius Slay Jr.
S James Bradberry IV
Why they might disappear: Last season, performances by rookie cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper Dejean could keep Philly’s depth in touch with Slay, which could serve as $4.3 million in the hat room that cuts the hats once after June 1. Bradberry missed the entire 2024 season due to injury, and his release is more likely to pay for future cap savings.

Round 5 (from the commander)
Round 5
Jack Sawyer, Edge, Ohio
Why is he? After a disappointing season, Bryce Huff can use some competition on Edge Rusher, and the Hawks can offer it by choosing Sawyer. The OSU star is known for defining tackles and scoring against Texas in the National Semi-Finals, but he is a steady player with a high floor to contribute immediately.
After two Super Bowl trips in three years, the Eagles’ luxury is not to force moves during the offseason. The core of Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, AJ Brown and Devonta Smith are the jealousies of most teams – they are all in the golden age of 2025. A candidate for Te Dallas Goedert, who turned 30 in January. But Philadelphia is a rare club with a luxury club that brings free agents and drafts to the Hawks - they don't have to force people to move in despair. -Scott Pianowski
