Scottie Scheffler passed Dustin Johnson on the PGA Tour's career money list earlier this year. His next goal: Phil Mickelson.
While DJ and Mickelson both participated in Liv Golf and have made roughly the same travel revenue over the past few years, Scheffler has made it to the standings.
The $3.42 million he collected by winning the PGA championship, and his price was $81,924,784, ranked fourth. Mickelson ranked third at $96,685,635.
Schefller is going to surpass Mickelson this year, which will require another huge hit streak, but he did earn $29 million in official revenue last year, accounting for just one-third of the 25-year total.
