Pete, Studio and Adolescence Gotham TV Awards Nominations

Max's medical drama PITT, AppleTV+'s "The Studio" and Netflix's "puberty" are the top picks for the 2025 Gotham TV Award nomination.

Other nominated shows include FX's "Dysfunction" and CBS's "Matlock". Among outstanding performances recognized in a variety of genres include Casey Bates (“Matlock”), Sterling Brown (“Paradise”), Michelle Williams (Michelle Williams (“Death for Sex”) and Olivia Williams (“Dune: Prophecy).

The acclaimed "Adolescent" recently set an Emmy's proxy campaign, where he nodded to Stephen Graham, along with newcomers Owen Cooper and Erin Doherty.

Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson received two nominations. One is used for "Ladies and Gentlemen...50 Years of SNL Music", and the other is used for "Scivious Life! (also known as the burden of black genius).

“The Gotham TV Awards are based on the success of last year’s inauguration, returning in a new category, expanding the tribute and a bigger stage to celebrate creators and artists making their mark on the landscape of today’s TV,” said Jeffrey Sharp, executive director of Gotham. “As the first award for the new TV season, we are proud to bring together the most exciting new voices in the industry, celebrate breakthrough achievements and deepen our commitment to supporting the creative community.”

Now, the award has introduced the first-ever category of outstanding original movies, broadcasts or streaming for the first time, which will award the original functionality for the first playback or transmission on TV (network, basic cable TV, pay TV, pay TV, paid viewing, interactive cable, broadband, broadband, broadband) or via Internet streaming via Internet streaming via Internet streaming via Internet streaming via Internet playback platform. It will also be the first year that Gothams will perform well or support the performance in the original film.

The nominees were selected by a committee of film and television critics, journalists, festival programmers and film curators.
