Peacock will debut four new original series later this month with a twist: These shows are all developed by socially-first video creators.
The streaming platform will debut on May 19 in four scripted shows under the Peacock Emerging Artist Series, all episodes available at the launch event.
The program is Warehouse stage (From creator Charlie Curtis-Beard), tTakull (From creator Katie Florence), Older wisdom (From creator Serena Kerrigan) and People like me (From creator Daren Vongirdner).

All four creators participated in NBCuniversal’s creator accelerator program and subsequently secured development plans with the company.
NBCuniversal hopes the program will help develop new talents who can continue to develop further programming for the company, while also introducing the audience these creators have built on platforms like Instagram and Tiktok, and offering longer products.

These four shows are the culmination of a multi-year project in NBCuniversal to develop new voices and tend toward social-first creators.
“The original Creator Accelerator program consists of 11 different social first creators with over 10 million followers among them, so they joined the boat, they worked at NBCU and were guided by many different people within the company, made many different initiatives for us, and really got to know our company about our company,” Feldman said. “Each of these creators has signed up for development with Universal Studios Group to create original series that are real to themselves. Throughout the process, creators have their own development mentors who can help them develop scripted and scriptless content.”
NBCU has lined up with Better-Hellp and the U.S. Army to serve as launch sponsors, while BetterHelp has incorporated people like me to focus on mental health, and the Army will use banners to provide a service platform.
