The Patriots announce Mike Vrabel’s coaching staff for 2024.
Vrabel served as head coach for the Titans for six seasons, and he hired nine coaches with him at Tennessee. Defensive coordinator Terrell Williams, guard coach Tony Dews, assistant offensive line coach Jason Houghting, defensive line coach Clinton Macmillan McMillan, guard coach Zak Kuhr Quinn reunited with Flabel.
Jerod Mayo staff rehired four coaches, special team coordinator Jeremy Springer, assistant offensive line coach Robert Kugler , Quinn and Ben McAdoo agreed to stay. Mayo’s brother Deron Mayo is also still the team’s strength and regulation coach.
"The goal of filling the 2025 Patriots coaching staff is to identify faithful, trustworthy coaches who are diverse in their background, ideas, experience and systems," Flaber said in a statement. "We will be on the Vision Maintain consistency, i.e. teaching and developing our players with creativity, consistency and attention to detail, and building relationships beyond the field and conference room.
“We will build a program where players, coaches and staff want to be part of, protect and proud. There are many great people in this building that help our players and coaching staff every day. I’m happy to work side by side with them to build the program. "
