The competition factory has already served as the sales agent for "Idiots", a new feature for Polish film producers Małgorzata Szumowska and Michał Englert.
The film stars Aimee Lou Wood, a champ at Best Female Performance in the "Sex Education" comedy show, along with Johnny Flynn ("Ripley", "One Life", "One Life", "Beast"), who won the Best Supporting Actor Critics Choice Award in "Genius."
The main photography of the film will begin next month.
The story is based on Andrew D. Kaufman's novel The Gambler's Wife: The True Story of Love, Risk, and the Woman Saving Dostoyevsky, published in 2021, following the lives of writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky and his wife Anna, which inspired him in a period that inspired "idiots" - within the scope of this era, but now writing the history of a literati.
The film follows Fyededa and Anna for their honeymoon in Europe, eventually staying at a healthy resort in Switzerland, returning to Russia only four years later.
Fyedya can’t shake their habits, but keep losing their money. His wife accepted this fate because he kept assured her that it was all for inspiration and soon he would write his masterpiece "Idiot".
Szumowska works with Kasper Bajon and Englert will do photography. Szumowska's films Mug (2018) and "Body" (2015) won the Silver Bear twice in Berlin Nall.
