Netflix officially announced “Mis Muertos Tristes” (“Mis Muertos Tristes”), a new four-part horror drama mini-series hosted by famous Chilean director Pablo Larraín, by his Chilean record label Fabula and Argentina, produced by his Chilean record label K&S films, the film’s producer, the film’s producer, and the most recent global megame measurement giant Hit's'Eternauut'.

According to the short story of the same name by Argentine writer Mariana Enríquez, the new series will begin filming at the end of June. Shooting will be in Buenos Aires for exterior and interiors in Santiago, Chile.

"My Sorrowful Dead" is described as a psychological and supernatural horror story that stems from social trauma, not only from Enriquez's titular story, but also a blend of characters and themes from other works, including "Julie", "Sunny Sunshine Land of Sunny Man" and "When we return when we talk to the dead." Enriques himself and the famous Chilean writers Guillermo Calderón ("Neruda", "the Club"), Anastasia Ayazi and Larraín adapted the screen.

Netflix's official synopsis reads: “Ema, a 60-year-old doctor, can see and hear the dead. She calls them 'presences' and has lived her entire life avoiding letting this gift connect her with the suffering of others. But when her niece Julie, a disturbed young woman who can also communicate with the dead, but in a much more intense and sexual manner, arrives at her house, Ema is forced to get involved.
