Tennis legend Martina Navratilova reacted to two Oregon high school athletes who refused to stand with a trans athlete after Saturday's women's high jump state championship.
Reese Eckard of Sherwood High School and Alexa Anderson of Tigard High School resigned from the podium and refused to share with the trans athletes who were awarded in the fifth place. Anderson ranked third and Eckard ranked fourth.

Videos obtained by Fox News Digital show that it officially faces Eckard and Anderson.
“Women and girls are punished no matter what they do in this misogynistic world…” Navelatilova wrote on X.
She added: "Feminists never asked to do this. At least not most of us … never."
Navratilova has always been the main voice in protecting women's sports. She particularly criticized Democrats who failed to stand up with her Republican colleagues to help pass legislation that would ban men from participating in the girls and women's movement.

Earlier this year, Navratilova criticized Democratic lawmakers for killing women and girls in the sports bill. Tennis legend calls on Democrats to “grow a spine” in a social media article.
President Donald Trump signed the "No Man in Women's Sports" executive order in February, and Navratilova said Democrats failed to do what the president did.
"I hate Democrats who have completely failed for women and girls on this very clear female sport issue," she wrote in an article on X.
She then asked Democrats a question as some states pointed their nose at the Trump executive order.
