One of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams of the Ram

After the Los Angeles Rams knew they were moving forward from Cooper Kupp, they didn't waste much time finding a replacement. Before the free agents began, they reached a deal with Davante Adams, a six-time professional bowler and three-time All-Pro.

By pairing Adams with Puka Nacua, the Rams ensure they will continue to have excellent receiver tandems at the top of the depth table. On paper, the Nacua-Adams Duo looks like one of the best in the NFL. They have the potential to get over 1,000 yards of reception, especially if Matthew Stafford stays healthy.

Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox recently ranked in the top 10 in the Cowboys' pairing, adding George Pickens and Rams, and it's the best catcher duo.

This is part of what Knox wrote about Nacua and Adams.

Matthew Stafford is behind center, Sean McVay calls for an offense, and Adams should seamlessly step in Cooper Kupp for 1A receiver NACUA in Los Angeles.

Nacua and Kupp helped the Rams rank 10th in pass and net yards in every attempt last season. The new tandem in Los Angeles is very likely to achieve similar success, as long as the injury is not a factor.

Adams said in March that the defense against him and Nacua would be "a test hell" and knew how great he and Garrett Wilson were in New York last season.

"Last year, I was happy to play with Garrett Wilson of New York, and similar to this situation, we went to Miami to play, and Jalen didn't know if he was going to go with him or with me," Adams said. "If you want to follow one or the other, either way is going to give. It's going to be difficult. We actually have to put the work in and do everything that will lead us to success, but on paper, it's definitely a test of the opposition."

Adams has at least 1,000 yards in each of the past five seasons, and he has completed at least 885 yards in nine of his 11 years in the NFL. He has also scored at least eight touchdowns in eight of the past nine seasons, including a league-high 18 in 2020 and 14 in 2022.

Nacua has 1,486 yards as a rookie in 2023, and although he scored no more than 1,000 seasons last season, he actually averaged per game (90.0) per game in the second year compared to his average yards (90.0) in previous seasons. It's just that injuries have limited his 11 games.

If everyone offensive can avoid injuries and stay healthy, the ram will be dangerous.
