Ohio State Buckeyes made an extraordinary game in the first 12-team football playoffs, becoming the No. 8 seed and won four straight games in double figures. Their path to national championships included in Tennessee, Oregon, Texas and ultimately winning in the championship game.
The victory marks Ohio State’s first national championship since 2014 and the first head coach Ryan Day, which is a particularly meaningful moment as it emerges after another disappointing weeks for Michigan, with many more fans calling for change to the helm.
However, the anniversary integrates the Buckeyes into the historic playoffs, and now Ohio State wants to bring that momentum into the 2025 season in a bid to earn back-to-back titles.
Ahead of the upcoming season, Ohio State announced a major announcement Friday, followed by a behind-the-scenes revelation Saturday: Head coach Ryan Day will make his debut in "EA Sports Academy Football 26."

Day's star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith will be on display on the cover of EA Sports College 26 along with Alabama sophomore Ryan Williams. The cover officially unveiled last week with expectations of the game's release expectations, and the game is scheduled for July 10.
The last NCAA football video game to enter the market was NCAA 14, released in July 2013, before College Football 25 returned last year.
Afterwards, the franchise was stopped due to legal issues surrounding the player's portrait rights. But with the advent of the zero rule and the rapid development of college track and field, the series achieved a very successful comeback.
College Football 25 became one of the most popular releases of 2024, even surpassing the NBA 2K21, becoming the best-selling sports video game in the United States.
