With airports across the country reporting relatively few issues on the first day of actual ID enforcement, at least one aviation expert and former pilot told Fox News Digital that he would not expect the peace to last.
"From the airport operational perspective, the Houston Airport Authority representative said Wednesday: "From the airport operational perspective, neither (George W. Bush InterContinental) nor (Houston-Hoby) responded to any questions. ”
The official added that Texas law enforcement began issuing real IDs nine years ago, while Lone Star State is covered by 90% of its population as 90% of its real ID card.
On the other side of the country, an official from the Port Authority operates Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark Liberty in the New York City area, who said there is no “no problem”.

Fox News producers from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey were able to safely secure and have lunch without any problems.
Newark Liberty officials are providing a sheet of paper to passengers who do not yet meet the actual ID, as part of the first phase of the launch.
An official drove to Philadelphia along the jersey toll road and they said "real ID".
"The checkpoint line has been moving all day long and TSA (Transportation Safety Administration) has staff available to answer questions and handle passengers," the official said.
“PHL (Philadelphia International Airport) also has its customer service team’s security team to greet passengers and answer or direct questions. We see most passengers ready to use their passport or actual ID card issued by the state as they approach the checkpoint.”
On the other end of I-95, Miami International Airport reported normal traffic at the checkpoint and highlighted that the hub worked with TSA to engage in passengers (including terminal signs) in the past year regarding real ID deadlines and alternative forms of identity identification.

In Charlotte-Douglas, North Carolina, the waiting time is averaged 10 minutes throughout the day, an official said its staff were "ready" to make adjustments.
At the busiest airport in the United States, an official said everything is running smoothly.
"I'm just downstairs (near the checkpoint). We didn't see any adverse effects," said Herschel Granget Jr. of Hartsfield-Jackson International in Atlanta.
Boston-Logan officials responded to this, adding that they also leveraged the same advertising strategy as Miami to conduct actual ID deadlines.
"At Logan, our customer service team will be holding additional staff to say hello during the launch and remind them to get their ID out before entering the TSA line," an official said.
But, former commercial and private pilot Ryan Tseko told Fox News in an interview Wednesday that any pauses won't last long.

"It will extend the number of delays on the system is huge," Tseko said.
"I don't think the public knows it. I don't think it's clear," he said, adding that he hopes there is a bottleneck at the airport.
“Many of these people are students who have to travel to 12 hours now.”
He predicts that when problems begin to arise, there will be calls for another delay in full implementation, as has been the norm since the Bush era.
