NVIDIA's revenue result will be Wednesday's market event, with wholehearted attention to the US's technology curb in China going to cost AI belts.

Company observers expect the chip giant's first-quarter revenue to rise 66.2% to $43.28 billion, but uncertainty surrounding its Chinese business could also be huge, with new markets opening even if other regulations pullbacks are to open up.

In fact, traders in the options market are preparing for industry-wide volatility after the results, and defensive options have attracted great attention on contracts on major semiconductor ETFs.

In addition to earnings, investors will also watch the development of the global bond market after Wednesday’s demand for a 40-year government bond auction in Japan, the lowest level since November, highlighting the decline in the market’s ability to absorb new debt.

Long-term yields have soared worldwide in recent weeks as bonds focus on fiscal deficits, especially in developed countries such as the United States and Japan.

Worries about tax cuts, the chaotic U.S. tariff policy will make inflation and boost government spending have made investors increasingly worried about holding long-standing sovereign debt.

On Tuesday, an exclusive Reuters report said Japan was considering pruning and issuing extra-long bonds, and production fell subsequently.

Yields on Japanese government bonds have barely changed after Wednesday's auction. The U.S. Treasury production rose slightly after the fall the day before.

In New Zealand, the central bank lowered its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points and marked a deeper relaxation cycle than predicted three months ago, highlighting the economic growth risks of drastic changes in U.S. trade policy.
