No. 10 | Dealing with the EU will make food cheaper and add £9 billion to the UK economy. European Union

A deal between the UK and the EU to cancel checks on agriculture would add £9 billion to the UK economy, while food prices were lower as the last minute deal was signed early Monday morning.

The deal will be granted to EU fishermen for 12 years in UK waters - checks about large quantities of food will be removed, as well as deeper defense partnerships and carbon tax agreements.

The UK said the deal would make "food cheaper, diagonally traditional Chinese tape festival, opening up the EU market". However, the trade-off weighs in on fishing and rights for 12 years (more than the UK offers), which could lead to betrayal of the industry.

Officials fought back the criticism, believing that standard food transactions would have huge benefits for fish and seafood exports.

The two sides will also begin negotiations for the Youth Experience Program, which was first reported in The Guardian, which could allow young people to work and travel freely again in Europe and reflect existing plans in the UK with countries such as Australia and New Zealand.

The UK said it would be "restricted and restricted", although the EU has not reached an agreement on details.

Keir Starmer and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen shook hands at Lancaster House just hours after negotiators completed their last three articles.

"It's time to look forward to it. Keep moving forward from old old debates and political struggles to find common sense, practical solutions that bring the greatest benefits to the British people," Starmer said. "If we can improve people's lives at home, we are ready to work with our partners.

"So that's all about this deal - face the world again with the great tradition of this country. Build the relationship we choose, and get the deal done for the national interest. Because that's what an independent sovereign state does."

At the heart of the protocol is the new Agrifoods protocol, called the SPS protocol, which eliminates the traditional tapes of food and beverage exports, completely eliminating some routine inspections of animal and plant products. In return, the UK will accept some dynamic settlements of EU food standards and play a role in maintaining the deal.

The deal won't be as restricted as the EU initially asked. It is for this reason that the UK has made significant offers for the long-term fishing agreement, expanding the current European fishing visits to 2038, initially provided by 2030. The original trade deal with the EU recommends negotiations in 2026 each year, but the government says the fixed deal will be confirmed.

British government officials said the deal in the UK fishing industry was about "protecting its rights and long-term security, rather than annual renegotiations that would never see EU ships leaving British waters".

The government said it would bring £360 million of modernization support back to coastal communities as part of the agreement, a default recognition of the concession.

But British officials say the SPS deal will be a major win for UK consumers and should lead to lower food prices and more options for supermarkets.

This means that certain products have been sold in the EU for the first time since Brexit, such as some burgers and sausages, as exports have dropped by 21%, and 7% of imports have been seen since Brexit.

However, despite repeated promises that Westminster will respect its power and interests for the decline of its power, the Scottish minister accused the British government of having Scottish onlookers in the fisheries negotiations.

The Scottish government in Edinburgh has full authority over the fishing policy in Scottish waters, but has not yet formally responded to the EU trawler's 12-year visit agreement.

But Scottish Foreign Minister Angus Robertson brought X to Lambast Starmer's government, who said it repeatedly canceled meetings within the central territory of the Environmental, Food and Rural Affairs, including all British government ministers.

"The British government has therefore just reached a 12-year fishing issue without any recourse involving or approves the Scottish government and other decentralized governments. The last three EFRA ministerial meetings of the UK government were subsequently cancelled."

Another deal reached before the Lancaster House Summit will be linked to emissions trading, the UK says it will avoid companies from hitting the EU's carbon tax next year.

The deal also saves about £25 million a year through custom arrangements to protect British steel imports from the new EU tariffs.

British holidaymakers will also be able to use European gates at airports, ending long holiday queues to use the gates for non-European citizens, and will introduce pet passports to eliminate the need for animal health checks on every trip.

Now, the UK will also hold formal talks on many key topics including youth liquidity trading to grant visas to young British and Europeans and re-enter the Erasmus program.

In the future, negotiations will also be conducted with the acquisition of EU facial recognition data, a key requirement for Starmer as a way to address cross-border crime and human trafficking gangs.

However, the UK will not immediately enter the EU's 150 billion euros (£12.6 billion) defense fund to allow British arms companies to bid for contracts - although the UK said the deal reached on Monday would pave the way for that goal in the coming months.

Cabinet Office Minister Nick Thomas-Symonds said: “Today is a historic day that marks the opening of a new chapter in our relationship with the EU, a new chapter in our service to workers across the UK.

“Since these negotiations began, we have been working for an agreement to make the British people safer, safer and more prosperous. Our new UK EU strategic partnership achieves all three goals. It provides work, bills and borders.

"Today is the day of childbirth. The UK and the government that serves workers have restored the world stage."
